I think this is what is most frightening to me. The blatant disregard now for any law or rule. It literally doesn't matter. They are quite literally, above the law.

Been through this fake argument a dozen times. Nothing illegal, cheaper for the taxpayers, nothing to see here at all.

Thank you, I appreciate the acknowledgment.
But I will wait to see what shakes. I don't know what Trump is doing, but I am sure we shall see. Perhaps it's simple, he thinks Camp David stinks!:dunno:

But then on the other hand, worry about emolument in respect to the G7 seems like chicken shit to me.

" No Title of Nobility shall be granted by the United States: And no Person holding any Office of Profit
or Trust under them, shall, without the Consent of the Congress, accept of any present, Emolument,
Office, or Title, of any kind whatever, from any King, Prince, or foreign State."

Even if you go clear back to the Federalist papers it doesn't seem it really is a problem either. I mean, I doubt any of the world leaders will make Trump a Duke or ...

Then Federalist 39 touches on the subject, but, geez rather irrelevant.

In fact, I guess I can't see that receiving payment for the cost of a room, suite, or Villa is an emolument. Seems like it is ripe to test in court if needed.

Its illegial.

Hes a corrupt person who resides in the white house.

Golf court? You mean miniature golf?
I've got a cousin in Georgia who once proclaimed that another cousin of ours had all kinds of golf trophies. My dad who loved golf was impressed and asked about the trophies. Then, my cousin said it was for miniature golf. It was all I could do to not fall down on the floor rolling with laughter. Damn, I had to keep a straight face.

If it was a Democrat you would be all over it, saying how unconstitutional it was.

it would be really interesting to have a logical and honest conservative Trump supporter in here, to balance out the left.
