Re: I'm so tired of this Stern please somehow get Atlanta new f*cking ownership, they're terrible. Its not really their Gm, he can't do anything because the owners won't spend any damn money. I'm not sure whats going on with their ownership but I don't like it and I'm not even a Hawks fan. I just hate seeing a team be so bad for so long and with their ownership they aren't going to get better. They aren't getting Amare because cheap ass owner doesn't want to go over cap. Is it just me being this mad or is it something that I don't understand going on what's up with this, how do you guys feel about this especially the Hawks fans?
Re: I'm so tired of this Everyone knows the Hawks suck balls so it's no surprise. No one even cares about the Hawks after the early 1990's.
Re: I'm so tired of this It's so weird the transition they made from the 90's into the 2000's. They went from spending tons of money acquiring contracts on guys like Theo Ratliff, Dikemebe Mutombo, Shareef Abdur-Rahim, Glenn Robinson, J.R. Rider, and on and on. Now they have a Celtics like roster and they won't spend a lot of moeny aside from JJ.
Re: I'm so tired of this I don't understand why in the world they didn't just get Amare, they would easily be a team to worry about in the East. I guess they don't wanna win?
Re: I'm so tired of this Who care's what he wants, he's under contract so has no choice. Atlanta owners are just so damn cheap, spend the effin cash please. I couldn't be a fan of that team, that's just shameful how the owners tear that team apart. If I was Hawks fans I'd do a boycott or something, the few 100 that do go to games should get together and not show up the first month or so of the season, that would send them a message. I'm a Lions fan and the Hawks remind me so much of the lions, that's why I feel the pain of the fans so much.
Re: I'm so tired of this Nobody wants to come here, and we cannot make any trades because of our eff'ed up management.. Everyone needs to be fired, everybody in the Hawks organization needs to go. Were making dumb draft choices, screwing up trades, people are scared to come here and trade with us.. Were in a terrible situation right now..I don't think Amare would've been as good as people think, here in Atlanta because we still have no PG.
Re: I'm so tired of this I have to agree with erybody bout dees damn owners but truth be told this is the most excited I have been about the Hawks since rappers started wearing Hawks jerseys LOL but nah serious I have been getting beat down for years for being an Atlanta FAN let alone being a Hawk and since the Falcons have finally made moves its just getting sweeter now that the Hawks are starting to make theirs. There is really nothing we can do at this moment to effect whats happening in the front office sorry sales have been down far to long for anybody to pull a strike. I'll just sit back and watch as our new under-rated "LAW OF THE LAND" man lights up the NBA. Well IMO.

I go to Texas A&M, and we weren't very good at basketball before a few years ago. I didn't have to wait as long, but I know how it feels with the excitement and stuff.I dunno about that bet, but I'm rooting for you!
Re: I'm so tired of this It all stems from that Joe Johnson trade with Phoenix... and one of their owners declined to approve that trade as well. Eventually that trade went through (obviously), and the one owner who denied the trade sued the rest of the owners in that ownership group. The litigation is still on-going, and that in itself is what is hindering Atlanta from making any trades or major free agent signings. That one owner is still in the ownership group I believe, and in turn can decline trades from going through just to spite the rest of the ownership group. That is what F*cked up the Amare trade...The front office might suck, but the franchise cannot move forward until the lawsuit is over.

That really sucks for Atl and their fans. At least they have some hope now.
Re: I'm so tired of this The Hawks are getting better even though they didnt draft Amare. They have great prospects at every position along with depth. expect them to make the playoffs and maybe win a series by 08'
