I'd say it has to be ray allen to the celtics. They look very nice suddenly with Jefferson looking to an allstar season that makes a potential of 3 allstars. I think that may be enough to win the atlantica and potentially surprise a few teams in the east.
^ Believe so. Not sure who came out on top in that deal either...32 year old. 63 million, 3 years on Ray Allen...:-/
There's also the Portland trade there, but I think the Seattle/Boston trade is easily the biggest. It says a lot about the direction of that franchise.
I would say Ray Allen was the biggest trade of the draft so far. Boston was forced to choose between being a franchise in rebuilding and giving up Pierce or keeping Pierce and attempting to win now. They made their choice and set up alot of questions for Boston next season.
I dont see why people say the celtics will be worse. You lose Delonte(career role-player) wally szberiak(career roleplayer) jeff green(career role player) and you get a guy who in the next 3 seasons will help you make a playoff push with already plenty of young talent there. (Petro,Green,Rondo,Jefferson,Gomez) The Celtics needed an allstar SG more then another project at F.

I think they are simply trying to keep Pierce happy instead of having him demand a trade, and then get ripped off by receiving 50 cents on the dollar when they are forced to ship him out of Boston.Plus Boston acquired Ray Allen without giving up a big trading chip in Theo Ratliff's contract, and of course keeping Al Jefferson (who they would have given up in any KG trade).
Best move of the Draft was Philly trading Kyrylo Fesenko to Utah for Herbert Hill. Brilliant move by Philly. I'm just joking. I think the best move of the draft was the Bobcats sending Wright to the Warriors for J-Rich. the Cats have a real star now, which will help them attract a fan base.
What is all the info about the Bobcats deal? Can someone post a link? I understand that and the Zach Randolph deal are the biggest? any others I missed? for some reason I passed out halfway through the draft
