    I bought pvc pipe and cut it into different small lengths and a bunch of t's elbows, 45s, connections and sanded the cuts smooth...my son built a lot of things with those pipes....10 ft of pipe was 99 cents back then and the connectors were the expensive part...I watched him and his friend invent hundreds of sculptures with simple hand made toys
