Talk about the fattest front court ever. That man makes no-one better, blackhole on defense and portland played better without him.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Nitro1118 @ Jul 1 2007, 03:48 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>Curry is a very poor version of Shaq. He is surprisingly light on his feet for someone his size, but he is not dominant like Shaq. This is a problem since he has absolutely no range, only scoring on very close shots. This isn't a problem against many Eastern Conference teams, but if the Knicks make the playoffs they will need a much better 1st scoring option as he will have trouble with big men who won't get pushed around. Randolph has a nice midrange jumper, and IMO more refined post game. Therefor he is much more suited to carry this team due to his versatility and better scoring ability.</div>Randolph does not have near the offensive game that you are painting it out that he has. His midrange shot is inconsistent at best, his post aresnal is not nearly as refined and wide open as you admit. He takes more shots per game than any other big man in the league, and shoots a worse percentage than just about any other big man in the league that gets consistent playing time. That tells me his scoring is only up that high, because he took so many shots per game. It was not because of how refined his offensive arsenal was. He turned the ball over at a high rate when he started to make his move, was kind of limited to which he hand he goes to, and once again was inconsistent on his jump shot. He is pretty much a scorer that takes alot of shots, shoots a bad percentage, turns the ball over, and rebounds decently. He really doesn't do a whole lot to help out the Knicks.

The Knicks, in general, have the most ignorant/annoying fans of any NBA basketball team, the younger the fan is, the worse it is.

He really doesn't do a whole lot to help out the Knicks.</div>He shoots a better percentage than Jermaine O'Neal and is right on par with KG/Dirk (alkthough, granted, Dirk is more of a perimeter player). Players like Dwight Howard, Curry and Yao Ming turn it over considerably more than Randolph, and Amare, who doesn't handle the ball as much as Randolph, is up there with him in TO's (JO as well is close to Randolph in TO). So, I'm really not getting your point. He may not be Tim Duncan down low, but he is still a pretty refined post player who can beat you inside and out (his midrange is pretty consistent for a big man, and just having the threat of a midrange makes him much more dangerous). We can debate how good his offensive game is, but bottom line is he is simply a better scorer than Curry. If nothing else, he is more versatile, thus he is harder to stop from team to team in this league. That makes him a much more viable 1st option on the Knicks. They need that go-to scorer, as Curry simply wasn't reliable enough last year. But as I said before, if nothing else, Randolph will help give the Knicks a very good rebounder, which they really need with Curry being one of the worst rebounding big men in the league.

Like blazerspwnu said, I'm pretty sure the Blazers will be buying out Stevie's last two years on his contract. Thats pretty said because I feel like he's still a great player. It's a shame to see teams not wanting a player with so much proven talent even though some may say all he does is jack up shots.

The dude's Knees were so bad last year it looked like he was in slow motion when he tried to beat people off the dribble. Sorry Francis fans, but the guy is 100% finished. He had a good run, but he doesn't have the jump in his step he once had.
