Re: Were you happy with your team's draft? lets see we got Javaris Crittenton from Georgia techChinese player Sun Yue and and Pau Gasol's brother Marc Gasol can't wait to see how they play :dribble:
Re: Were you happy with your team's draft? I like the Morris Almond pick at 25 for the Jazz, but I don't like Herbert Hill. nor do I like trading Hill for Fesenko.
Re: Were you happy with your team's draft? Rockets now have TWELVE guards/SF:James/Alston/V-Span/Brooks/Newely/Head/Bonzi/T-Mac/Battier/Sura/Snyder/John Lucas IIII can't believe the Rockets didn't go for at least ONE PF (we really only have 1 PF fit to play the position in this league [Hayes]). I am so pissed off we didn't do the Artest deal, although with the resigning of Bonzi I can at least somewhat understand this. Now the Rockets have 11 tradable guards/SF's and the MLE to find a very solid PF(s).
Re: Were you happy with your team's draft? Pistons picked up 3 shooting guards. We have Richard Hamilton and Flip Murray.Nick Young would have been better than Rodney Stuckey, and Tiago Splitter or Petteri Koponen (in my opinion) would have been better than Arron Afflalo.
Re: Were you happy with your team's draft? Decent. I'm not sold on Horford or Law. I don't think either have alot of upside, and I don't think they really fit our needs. We needed a TRUE PG and we got a shooter, reminds me of Jason Terry. We drafted a PF last year with the 5th pick and this year we draft another PF with our 3rd pick, so are we just going to put Shelden on the bench? Some sort of trade would've been great, because we have some great pieces to package together to get another pick or a good vet. Everyone thinks we got some NBA Ready players, and we had a great draft - but I don't think Horford will be a great offensive player, and Law will never be a true PG. (he'll be a shooter first type guard)
Re: Were you happy with your team's draft? No im not happy... We drafted Young when we coulda got Al Thornton. Even though he is a wing also he could have played PF when we go small. I would have been Willing to take Big Bay over Jason Smith. And also we didnt get a point guard and Pruit was available at 30. Then we take ANOTHER wing in Byars.
Re: Were you happy with your team's draft? If Joakim Noah develops strength then I will say he was a good pick, because I have a feeling he will be a very valuable hustle defensive player from the start and be a decent rebounder from the get go also. Strength is the key to his future. I doubt he'll ever be a scorer but in 3 years if he pans out we can let go on Ben Wallaces huge contract and still have a dominant defensive big man.
Re: Were you happy with your team's draft? No. Fazekas is a scrub and we didn't need him at all. I don't even know who the other 2 guys are. Dallas' draft was pretty garbage-like if you ask me.
Re: Were you happy with your team's draft? I was "so-so" with what the Knicks did. Love the trade, but it had nothing to do with the draft - Wilson Chandler is a solid prospect I guess, nothing you could do REAL GREAT at 23 anyway...but yeah, Chandler is solid - haven't seen him enough to say its a horrible or a great pick though.

Stuckey was the player I wanted least. So Nick Young drops to 15 as I had hoped the whole draft...and of course they take Stuckey.Happy? Hell no. But I will trust Dumars...but if Nick Young turns out to be a deadly 20ppg scorer and Stuckey is a Darko bust..I'm sorry Joe..but you gotta go...to many mistakes made with such a good setup team.I DID love the Afflalo pick though. I have liked him for a while though, and it was a bit unexpected that we'd pick him for me..so it made me quite happier. I think Afflalo will be a better player then Stuckey...call me crazy.</div>Im not a big fan of Stuckey either, but thats because hes not a real known player. He can score very well, attack the basket and many have compared him to Dwyane Wade (take it or leave it...). Many people knock Rodney for playing at a small college and not having much competition, but its not like it was his choice. He was being recruited by some big colleges but couldnt go because of his grades. Young is a good player, but I think Stuckey is more of a pure scorer, and slasher.Afflalo is a good pick, but I would've liked to see us take a big man but you cant win every one. Afflalo is no doubt a good player.

Re: Were you happy with your team's draft? He's his favorite player after all and hes number 3 because of him, and he said last night he modeled his game after him.
Re: Were you happy with your team's draft? I thought we did okay, but we just had second rounders. I like Reyshawn Terry from what I've seen... as I recall, he's a hustle player. Fazekas I know even less about, but I've heard good things. We got some other dude, but that will probably never turn into anything. Overall, this draft won't matter much, as I expected.
Re: Were you happy with your team's draft? I am very happy with the Celtics' draft night. We went out and got ourselves an All-Star player with a lot of ball left in him. Ray compliments Pierce, he's happy to be in Boston, and at the end of the day... the only thing we got rid of out of our core was Delonte West. Can Jeff Green be a good player? Hell yes, and I believe he will, but he's not a future Hall-of-Famer (maybe) like Ray Allen. We now have 3 legit All-Star caliber players that all compliment each other, and get this... we still have Theo Ratliff's expiring contract, we still have Al Jefferson, we still have Rajon Rondo, we still have Gerald Green, we still have Ryan Gomes... we have two veteran All-Stars, a 22 year old double-double every night, a big expiring deal, and a lot of good young talent. I also like both second round picks, of Gabe Pruitt and Big Baby.I'm a happy camper.

Dallas' draft was pretty garbage-like if you ask me.</div>Disagree. Fazekas will come in and occupy what Van Horn and Croshere did for us behind Dirk the past 2 seasons. I've read up on him since the draft and he seems like a solid pick at 34. Probably one of the better shooters in the draft, which we need and has some post moves, rebounds well, high basketball IQ, confident and willing to D despite not having the athletic ability to defend as well as he wants to. Which is easily an upgrade from Van Horn's mentality. As for the 2 other guys you don't know, we traded one of those for Reyshawn Terry. Seems like a keeper, good size, athleticism, scorer. The Lithuanian is staying overseas. I really don't know what you were expecting with 2nd rounders but I thought we did well in our position. This team will have it's improvements from free agency, not the draft.
Re: Were you happy with your team's draft? I hated that we traded another useful pick even though we could have taken Fernandez or Splitter and kept them overseas and not had to pay for them immediately but I really like Tucker @ 29 as he will bring a lot to the Suns team and I liked Strawberry at 59. Two solid defensive perimeter players who can drive to the basket and hopefully with learning under guys like Phil Weber and Mark West develop a more consistent mid-range/3 point shot.
Re: Were you happy with your team's draft? Instead of happy, sad, and/or mad. I'll say I'm straight up confused. Why would we take two guards when we already have a sh*t full?We just took another John Lucas(Aaron Brooks) and some Australian guy I don't even know sh*t about. Then we traded our future 2nd rounder and some cash for Carl Landry, an undersized PF like Hayes.I have no clue what Darryl Morrey is up to, but it better be big.
