never even heard of this guy lol. but I wish the raptors did something to get a 1st round pick at least. but then we can look forward to see what colangelo will do for the raptors during the offseason. shouldnt be any huge trades but minor like getting rid of dixon and graham.

Seems like a nice guy.....kindof funny that he was actually there in the crowd for the draft after 57 picks

We need to stop getting so many Euro players. The brothers aren't going to want to come here.

Golden State were very happy he was there and were not going to just let him go that easy. I also thought we were going to look at Rudy Fernandez but Portland jumped all over that and Petteri Koponen as well. I wanted Koponen you look at draft profiles I have seen nothing but good things from he he is also from Finland and I have backround in Finland so that would of been cool haha.

I thought the raptors were going to do the same but instead get the tiago splitter guy?and I also thought tiago splitter was the one that the spurs drafted with the 58th pick?

Nah it was Giorgos Printezis. Tiago Splitter was SA's 28th pick.

Well we didnt give up much again, but this means we only have 1 pick next year, and that will be at the 22 spot. No one is goign to analyze this guy, I just hope he provides us with decent depth at the 3. If NBAdraft.net is right, he can become an Antawn Jamison, and the fact that he isnt small is a plus.

I wouldnt mind him being on our roster this coming season, although he would probably be our 3rd string SF or PF getting PT only in garbage time.

Giorgos Printezis is a pretty good player. His shooting is the most impressive thing about his game, he knocks down the three with consistency. This trade isn't going to hurt Toronto at all, it is a low risk deal.
QUOTE

how come he only averages 11 points in a euro league?
The Euro League has alot of solid competition. 11 points is impressive, especially for a guy this young.

just read some things on this guy. he seems to be a decent guy. he could be a guy that would help us come off the bench and knock down a shot that would get the crowd pumped. looking at his avgs and they arent that bad either 59FG% and 393PT%. but too bad he wont be with us until his contract ends though.
