So a team with two All-Stars and that is undefeated with a host of returning players that is expected to make the playoffs and has no injuries is not a good team at home? Really?

Wait, I thought that was the problem last year and that we improved our supporting cast? Now that's the problem again? I'm sorry, but I really don't understand how people can put every single struggle we have on the supporting cast.

No chance, I’d kill to have just Kanter and Curry back. Based on our cap limitations I’d say we did well to not make our bench completely dogshit but we were always going to have significantly worse depth after last year.

Yes, a well coached team runs their stuff, not fight back.

Spurs are a good team, I think we're much better.

If we simply didn't settle for 14 jumpshots in 16 or 17 possessions in the 3rd quarter when we couldn't hit any, then we would've won. Maybe we should've went away from settling for shooting jumpers every possession. But then again, the only way we were getting into the paint was by isolating or going 1 on 1 or 1 on 2... So what's the problem?

Our offensive system doesn't get guys with the ball going downhill, or utilize cuts going towards the rim. Sure, we may see them here and there, but they're too far and few between, and they aren't utilized like they should be when we have stretches where jumpers aren't falling (like was the case in the 3rd quarter). Other teams have no trouble getting designed action towards the rim, no matter what their personnel is.

But somehow that's not a coaching issue. But when Dame hits contested stepback fadeaway threes to bring us back, somehow that's coaching.

If Anthony Tolliver is playing 29 minutes, chances are you're not going to be in the best position to win. That remains true. It's not his fault. It's Stotts' fault.

In what universe does Tolliver get more minutes than Hassan and Skal? But still there will be defenders. I like Stotts too. But he does this with one player every season. Collins could barely get in the rotation last season in favor of Aminu. This time it's Tolliver in front of Skal. SMH...

I disagree but I can see the logic behind this. Bazemore is much worse when he plays too loose. I think that's a product of our team. Simons is showing flashes and needs time. Mario was solid tonight but needs to be used more as a cutter in the halfcourt. Skal is good, he's being underplayed.

So the other team tonight was down 19 and had to fight back. Then they were up 17 and lost the lead. Then they gave up not one but two chances for the tie inside of 7 seconds left in the game. That other coach is none other than Greg Popovich. Would you care to explain? Please do because this really ought to be entertaining.
