    26. Houston Rockets/Aaron Brooks/Guard/Oregon54. Houston Rockets (from Cleveland) Brad Newley/Guard/AustraliaHouston fans, what do you think? good draft for the Rockets? Now iv'e watched Brad Newley play hundreds of times and I have to say .. he's not bad at all, he has a decent shot, he's very good at driving the ball to the hoop though I don't know how well he's going to do it in the NBA, he's defently going to have hit the weight room and put on a few more pounds for sure which can and will help him in many ways, I can only really see Newley turning into a scorer off the bench at best, but he can be effective so I wouldn't say this is a bad pick at all. Aaron Brooks should be good, im sure the Rockets can use him quite a lot next season.

Aaron Brooks to me at 26 was a reach. He's a small pg, he's listed at 6'0 but he's smaller than that. And plus, Rockets have quite a glut at pg right now as well. Didn't get the pick, was expecting Fazekas to be honest.

We now have TWELVE guards/SF:James/Alston/V-Span/Brooks/Newely/Head/Bonzi/T-Mac/Battier/Sura/Snyder/John Lucas IIII can't believe the Rockets didn't go for at least ONE PF (we really only have 1 PF fit to play the position in this league [Hayes]). I am so pissed off we didn't do the Artest deal, although with the resigning of Bonzi I can at least somewhat understand this. Now the Rockets have 10 tradable guards/SF's and the MLE to find a very solid PF(s).

I think Lucas will be waived.. maybe VSPan.. since Brooks is probably staying. Head might be packaged with somebody else.. Snyder? for a big man. and those 2nd round picks are probably not staying.

That guy is very raw, and can make the rotation for this team, and will most likely succeed under Adelman, Lucas should be waived of course, and exactly how are we gonna get a big man by giving an undersized shooting guard, and an SG version of Stromile Swift?
