Watch. How much you wanna bet dumbass Quinn will sit Hajek who was starting to play well instead of incompetent and washed up Staal. You can see this one coming.

Skjei needs some 'time off' as well as Staal who can barely even move anymore.

Both have been great since being called up.

If only they had someone to take Skjeis place right now.

Looks like they still are interested in Puljujarvi, partially because Kakko is here now. I'd offer a 2nd, Rykov and maybe Huska though he may be their exposed goalie to Seattle.

It's not a bad idea if they can get him at a nice price. He's got size and is a righty shot. Edmonton handled him poorly, like most of their prospects.

Though, that is too much to offer. I think he had double hip surgery. He had attitude problems and many think he's a bust. We don't have a second rounder next year. If anything, Gorton will look to get a second back somewhere. Rykov was highly regarded. Puljujarvi is not the type of prospect I would include him in. Most I would offer is a package of Huska, Reunanen, Gettinger and Fontaine. Nothing more. That is enough. Puljuarvi is a substantial risk as it is. I'd like to see Gettinger and Fontaine get a chance with Tippett as role players on a 4th line. Those are the types of players he likes to work with. Reunanen has talent but he won't make this squad with the dmen in the system. Huska IMO has a chance to be a starter down the line.

If you are pushing it you make it Huska, Keane and Gettinger. Keane has 6 goals as a rookie on defense in the AHL. However, I'm not sure he can make this squad on the right side. You have Trouba, DeAngelo, Fox. Then you have Lundkvist a number 1 pick playing very well in his league.

Lindgren was one of their best dmen in preseason, should have been on the opening day roster, same with Chytil. The removal of the worst dman in hockey with Lindgren's addition is the equivalent of making a major move.

Chytil was awful in the pre-season. He didn't deserve to make the team.

Whatever they did with Chytil down there it seems to have helped, though it's only 2g. Lindgren has been solid, and it will be interesting to see what Staal regarding maybe waiving his NTC now. We'll see by the New Year i guess.

If Marc keeps seeing games from the press box the trade should happen sooner than New Years (fingers crossed!). I'm of the play your 1st rounders with the big team philosophy, a good coach and even most fans can see whether a rookie can hack it. I think Lias and Filip both should play over McKegg/Haley/Smith. I'm hard pressed to think of any 20 yr old the Rangers have ever drafted with Chytil's size and skating ability.
