although there are superstars potentially in the free agency (lewis probably, billups and carter probably not) I think the bobcats have a great chance of picking up a play off ready roster with one or two trades. there are some really underrated players there this year. of course with j rich and hopefully crash resigning for us, our wage bill is starting to look alittle heavy but we still have to spend seriously compete with the big boys (and the east, ha ha). I think a steal would be signing darko at our mid level. he's 21! in three years he'll be a beast and for the moment he'll be a decent cetre to help out okafor.another potential move would be to waive brevin knight - only costing one and half mil, and its worth it just to get his injury prone body out of charlotte.

I think it will be a little time to get you back in the playoffs by just getting Darko. You need to pick up one of the big freeagents and I think you guys could improve alot.
Chauncey and Vince are pretty much out of the picture, and Lewis is 50/50 on re-signing so that leaves the biggest free agent outside of them Gerald Wallace. Not a very good free agent class.Next year however, will be huge...
