Yeah they've been talking about in on WEEI all day long. Once again, if we give up AL I'm definately not a fan.

If you get Garnett without dealing PP, or Ray Allen, I'd be happy. I know you all love Big Al and all, but this is Kevin Garnett. If this deal goes down, I can def. see Boston making a run.

If we give up al theo and gerald that is a DEAL for us.You know we'd be easily near the top of the east, and we'd be one key role player away from a championship.Who could stop Pierce, KG, ray ray, with a solid pg in rondo and gomes off the bench? Not to mention if Tony Allen comes back strong, he'd be terrific with these stars around him

Exactly. Who in their right mind would able to stop Garnett, PP, Ray Allen? Haha, I know Cleveland couldn't. Detroit would have a lot of problems, and so will others. I think this team could easily be at the top of the East if they pull off a deal.

god, I'm not saying minnesota would necessarily do it, I was just saying the players I would want the celtics to give up in this trade. and I know they probably wouldn't take green anyways because then they'd kind of be overloaded at the wings with ricky davis, trenton hassel, corey brewer, and gerald green. wouldn't be worth it. they would want al in return, and I'm saying I wouldn't give up al. there. The way I see it, Al is going to be at the same level as KG in a year or two anyways, and at that time the age difference will make Jefferson MUCH more appealing. it makes sense to hold on to jefferson.EDIT: and seriously, since when is gerald green a bum?

I meant, al jefferson in 2008 or 2009 will be as good as kevin garnett in 2008 or 2009. I don't mean their careers. reputation counts for nothing anyways, it's talent that matters.

how is that doubtful? as a starter al j got 16.5 and 11.5, and he was like 19. KG is starting to slide a little bit, while Jefferson is really starting to come into his own. I wouldn't be surprised at all if both of them had almost equal value in a few years. Al's numbers might not be as good because he will be playing with two 5+ time all-stars, but he will still be that same threat in the post.

My views haven't changed, although Garnett with Pierce and Allen looks incredible on paper... if we deal Al Jefferson I will be pissed, period.

You could think about it that way or you could further the teams chances for next year in being a Finals contender by getting KG on the celtics, ethier way I think Celtic fans will be happy and I can see winning from the team for a at least a couple season now, the only problem if KG were to come to the Celtics is that once these 3 players being Ray, Paul & Kevin get to 35 years of age then id be thinking the Celtics will struggle a bit by trying to obtain a new bunch of guys, but they may not, it's really a toss up and I also do see enough of a supporting cast for them if the Celtics bring in KG, it isn't a problem.

Even to get KG I am not in favor of trading Big Al. I can't relive this kinda crap.
