    As yanks don’t give him a qualifying offer. Maybe going after one of the 2 big game pitchers instead

    Since the Yankees passed on a qualifying offer I'd hope that they can sign him to a reasonable deal. Better Gregorius at short, GT sometimes sleeps at the switch. I see the Yankees also reinstated some players that could hopefully be trade bait.

    not offering a QO means the Yankees wont get any compensation draft pick if he declines the offer

    DiDi can still be resigned, and my hope is that he is, unless the Yanx have their eye on another SS.

    Exactly...I think the way it works is that IF a team is going make a QO to a player, they must do it by a certain date...would not be surprise if Cashman and DiDi are trying to figure out something that is equitable for both sides.
