Pennsylvania Democrat apologizes for calling early miscarriages ‘just some mess on a napkin’ This kind of comment is worse than some of Trumps whacky comments, this one is very sad.
Not a good thing to say, but it doesn't compare to the congressman who claimed women should just lay back and enjoy being raped.
Many politicians think they can say whatever they want, but it defiantly exposes what their ideology is in respect to values and beliefs. Its like you got to be a hard liner one way or the other now.
I just happened to come across the context for this comment - apparently Pennslyvania is trying to legislate that women must give their miscarriages funerals. That's pretty fucking stupid, pardon my American. And way worse than what you quoted someone saying in response. barfo
I don't agree with any law like that either but her comment was crude disrespectful to life. imo Kind of like Trump gets with his lose mouth.
Well at least she apologized as that's really all you can do after the fact. Have you ever heard trump ever apologize for many of his crude and uncalled for insults and attacks? I certainly haven't. He's in a league of his own (well except for several republican politicians such as these below. never heard an apology from these ass clowns.
Geez! You ought to ask for those minutes of your life back. Who the hell would look all that shit up?
When it comes to politics right now I am struggling to find where I fit. I keep thinking of this quote from JRR Tolkien, “Side? I am on no one’s side, because no one is on my side.”
Millennial Wishes There Were Some Historical Examples Of Socialism We Could Study To Have Some Idea How It Might Turn Out November 5th, 2019 PORTLAND, OR—Local socialist millennial man Matthew Hatter lamented Monday that there are no concrete examples of socialism he can point to in order to have some kind of idea how it would turn out "If only there were other countries that have tried socialism before," Hatter said to a friend at an ethical coffee shop, Commiebrews, Monday afternoon, after he finished his paper route. "Then, we could see if there are any pitfalls." Hatter said it'd be nice if there were books that covered things like world history and economics that we could read. If that were the case, Hatter said, we could abandon socialism if it looked dangerous or proceed with socialism if every country that implemented it were incredibly successful. "Like, say some countries in South America tried socialism before and everybody starved to death," he said. "Or if there were major superpowers who implemented socialism and then, like, 100 million people died---that would be really bad. We could look to these 'books of history' and decide that wouldn't be the route for us." "Alas, sadly, this isn't the case, so the country will just have to be pioneers and try socialism to see what it's like." Hatter said he's just glad that if socialism turns out to be terrible, no other country would be dumb enough to follow in our footsteps. https://babylonbee.com/news/millenn...EZUMn-Y0jDH6y80g-86gDPSsbvDFZphQKPVWwawWFS6ZE
So two dudes are at a coffee shop having a conversation and someone was there to write an article about it?
"It wasn't "rape-rape"". - Whoopie Goldberg (defending Roman Polanski's rape and sodomy of a 13 year old)
WTF???? Are you really that desperate to dig up a Polansky story from 100 years ago and has nothing to do with politics or the thread? You need to worry about your boy as evidence is mounting.
