------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------San Francisco ChronicleThe Golden State Warriors, who netted a $10 million trade exception from Charlotte in the Jason Richardson deal, can now become a major player in this summer's trade market. The Warriors acknowledged speaking to the Minnesota Timberwolves this week, presumably about Kevin Garnett. Whether that means they can go after a player of Garnett's stature ? and salary ? while using the exception remains to be seen. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

they would have to give up Baron Davis to get him along with a few more players. It would ruin the chemestry and put KG in a worst situation then he is right now with the Wolves

I don't think it'd be good for G.S. at all.

They wouldn't have to give up Baron, Minneosta is looking to rebuild anyways don't see why they even need Baron.

If they were to keep Baron and a couple of there younger players it could well workout for the Warriors, anything is possible.

they would have to trade Monta Ellis and alot of other good young talent that would be better off staying with the warriors and developing around Baron. They should of kept J-Rich to...I dont know why they traded him especially since how good he did this year

I don't think G.S. would be anywhere near good because there going to have to get rid of a lot.

GS reportedly offered brandan wright, biedrins and ellis for kg.If they threw in a draft pick I bet Minnesota would make that deal especially being pressured to deal KG soon

That trade is ridiculous for GS...If Chris Mullin throws away our future (Ellis, Biendrins, Wright) for an older player like KG, I'm going to be beyond pissed...

if there's one thing I know about chris mullin it's that anything that's rumoured involving the warriors won't happen.
