If he wasn't fouled on that dunk attempt, then I would say 9/10.

    yeah, the win is nice

but....Dame came into the game averaging 38 minutes, the most in the league. And there's a B2B coming this week. He played more than 44 minutes in a game to get a win, at home, against a 10th seed from the other conference. Stotts is grinding Dame down, and that will come back around later in the season. Dame has the double burden of being the main scorer and the only guy who can consistently run the offense. That's a heavy load without also having him lead the league in minutes. Fatigue leads to injury. They have to get Dame's minutes lower

Ant is for real, we need to play small a lot because none of our forwards are very good. Hezonja is total garbage and shouldn’t be in the NBA.

Jordan Kent is great and all but Brooke getting more TV time on the post game show is fine with me.

I'm super pumped we won tonight!

Having said that... The majority of issues Portland has had all season, continued tonight. Not complaining about any win, but just like I can't go off the deep end after a close loss, I can't throw a parade after tonight's win.

I think the hope is that getting on the right side of the scoreboard helps some of the confidence issues, and winning just brightens things up. We’ll see, they still have a tough schedule ahead, but Id imagine the players feel a little bit like a weight came off their shoulders.

CJ will always be a black hole, but he will improve his efficiency. Ant is probably already better than CJ though. Much more well rounded game... I would let Ant run the offense more.

I dont think Simons is better than CJ today, but I think he will be. Its still so early in his career though, who knows.

Ant playing like that could let Dame get some loooooong time to rest on the bench if he could just get some more consistent help from the others.

I'm with you! The game is fragile and sometimes a close win (or loss) is all it takes to turn the tides. We just have so many things to overcome with the roster.

How many coaches challenges has Stotts won? At least 4

Ceiling? Olsheys best pick in Portland not named Dame. A top 30 player.

He also attacks under control with his head up and good vision. He seems to have ice in his veins at end of game... should have a game winner already and almost made that tough shot today too. Sky’s the limit.

With his bounce, length, shooting, and finishing, he could be a guard version of Paul George, since George is more of a wing.

He might not be or he might be... we’ll see by the end of the season.
