I hope things improve for you, buddy. We had to change dad's diet and lifestyle considerably after his major stroke a few years ago.
And I liked your post, because you let us know what is going on; not because of what is going on. I highly suspect that you already knew that. Think positive. Things will get better. You already knew that too though....
first off...Richards is an alien android. That's the only explanation for how somebody who should have croaked at 46 is still alive at 76 2nd...really sorry to hear about your health problems. Now, if it was me, I wouldn't object so much to a health issue if it happened around Christmas because it would be a great reason not to see the in-laws. I've run out of those and they never worked anyway....dammmit tell me about the coffee issue. About 15 years ago my heart started to go batshit. All kinds of irregular beats. I probably don't have to tell you that when your heart is being a jerk, you can't ignore it. It's kind of right in the center of everything you are. In my case it was PVC's (pre-mature ventricular contractions). What that is: your heartbeat is organized by a tiny node of cells at the base of the aorta. It sends a little electrical signal to tiny nodes of cells at the base of the ventricles. Those nodes have rhythm man (which makes me wonder about Keith Richard's heart). Anyway, in PVC's, one of the nodes of cells on a ventricle has too many cells in it. It gets impatient and jumps the gun and then, that whole beat is disrupted...irrgular heartbeat and it sucks but it's not really health threatening...just a major annoyance. The gist of the story is that what was energizing that damn ventricular node, in my case, was the caffeine in coffee....and I really loved my morning jolt of joe. Had to give it up and it was horrible. But I did and the PVC's stopped. I really liked the morning ritual of coffee so I switched to de-caffeinated, with an allowance for a couple of times a month going full-bore on the real stuff. It took a while but I don't really miss it anyway, again, sorry about your problems. Hoping you get better
This game is a must win. THIS may perhaps be the beginning of the end of the beginning of the end to the blazers franchise. Michael Jordan never lost to the cavs. Stephan Curry never lost to the cavs. If we lose this game, ALL IS LOST! We will need to sell the the team and execute Stotts at Tiananmen Square. CJ should then be crucified from the hoops at Moda Center. And Dame should, of course, get a pay raise. We all know Dame has a heart of gold, and unlike ME-J he’s all about winning but how many more losses can Dame’s massive heart take? If we lost this game, this man is going to need a heart transplant after how heartbroken he is about his heart and passion. When you consider what his heart has done done for this city, team, and country - I would give this man my own heart. but ONLY if we lose THIS game. This is a “MUST” win!
So the word "Meltdown has been through around a bit as of late. It's time! Yep... Time to bring the Meltdown thread back to life! BUMP!
Had to wait until the season started. Least i didn't get "It's only Preseason" responses. You have to admit this team looks way out of sorts right now. They are worthy of a few meltdowns.
I’m not sure what people expected? Two new starters Five new players in the rotation ( if you include Hood) New defensive scheme Still have CJ “black hole” McCollum It will take some time to become whatever it is they will be. It might be this, but who knows?
Which basically means we have one of them on the floor at all times and even worse, sometimes both. "Didn't want Melo re-signed." "Didn't want Melo re-signed." "Didn't want Melo re-signed." "Didn't want Melo re-signed." ....maybe if I think it enough, we can go back in time and undo it.
