This team still needs wing help or a bigger shooting guard if CJ can bring in a wing. Not a fan of anything attached to Old Ball, but LaMelo, Jaden McDaniels and Avdija would seem to fit from a skill set perspective. What do you think @BonesJones ?

I like Cole Anthony with a bigger guard who can defend. Since that is neither Dame or CJ, I don't think he fits here. He would be like CJ.....much better on his own team but creates big holes when teamed with someone too much like himself.

    Hello darkness, my old friend
While Bowie had injury issues, he was never remotely as talented as Jordan. Even coming into that draft, no one thought Bowie was as talented as Jordan--those who agreed with Portland's pick did so on the basis that big men were much more important than perimeter players and the Blazers already had Drexler.

That kind of talent disparity didn't exist with Oden and Durant. Everything about Oden's play when healthy spoke to a generational talent. He was both big and athletic, a smart and instinctive defender with a developing offensive game that already looked good at Ohio State. He profiled as a dominant defender who could also be a hub on offense. A bigger, more explosive Tim Duncan potentially. He was the Olajuwon of that draft, not the Bowie, in terms of talent. But he couldn't stay healthy--if it was clear that he had career-altering injury issues (and whether that was clear going into the draft has been argued ad nauseam) then it was a bad pick. If that wasn't clear, then it was a perfectly justifiable pick even if the result proved disastrous.

Took like 4 minutes into the video before I think I saw his first pass. I think he'd fit in well here!
    I'm mostly kidding!

I really like his shooting motion, and he seems really athletic.

Not a fan of LaMelo, I think hes wildly overrated. McDaniels is too much of a project. Give me Avdija.

I stopped watching when we lost to the G-league of the Warriors. We would lose to the Oregon State beavers or Oregon Ducks women teams. Maybe we could trade for Kyrie ... lol

This is all a part of god's plan to bring my countryman Deni Avdija to the Blazers. No other explanation for this whole thing.

I think Deni Avdija would be the best fit for the blazers out of all those guys. His shooting form is great. His passing is actually pretty good with 5 assists a game. His defense is decent at worse. I think him being with Little would be a very scary duo on the wing especially as little continue to develop himself. Then we include Ant and Collins, we got the big 4 of the future who all can contribute off the bench now. A lot of people compare Deni to Doncic, and I do agree with that comparison in a way that Deni can do a lot of what Luka do, but Deni may not necessarily be making a mvp type season in year 2 haha but he will be very scary good in the future

As opposed to the Warriors who had every single starter from the year before out. Some don't see the other side of what an opponent is dealing with. That might be the least talented starting 5's in NBA history.

I would also like to point out that Durant would still be ringless if he hadn't bailed on OKC and joined the super friends in Golden State.
