Yi's handlers did everything they could to keep him away from Milwaukee. The Bucks were not permitted to attend any of Yi's workouts and GM Larry Harris did not travel to China to see Yi play in person. According to league sources, Yi's representatives will ask the Bucks to trade Yi on Friday.http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2007/writ...t.rehash/1.htmlTake anything from SI with a grain of salt but still hahahahahahaha

Well, it is friday and there has really been no official word about Yi Jianlian requesting a trade. It was likely just a rumor because we have also heard from Yi that he's willing to play in Milwaukee. In the end it is likely that Jianlian will be wearing a Bucks uniform come training camp.

Larry Harris has watched Yi Jianlian play 20 times, he's seen him play in America and in other countries where he's played games.
I read that Yi's camp want him to play for a big market team with a high asian population... but that was before the draft. I don't know if they'll ask for a trade, but whatever...
YAO made a conversation with Yi after the draft and he said Yi was satisfied with the draft result on the tecent news.International usage:sorry for my poor English.
