Trump will appeal to his buddies in the supreme court. The founding fathers would roll over in their graves at what our government has become. Seperation of powers no longer exists. It is all partisan. The founders did not forsee multiple poltical parties when they wrote the constitution. Now a party can control all three branches of government. They are no longer seperate of one another.
It may simply be wishful thinking on my part, but the SC may decide not adjudicate this matter at all which would mean Trump is screwed, and if they do choose to rule on it I'm not going to assume that they will automatically rule in Trump's favor.
I hope they ultimately decide to refrain from adjudicating these two cases. I wouldn't bet on that though. Trump has two guys he just put in who will remember who got them there. The SC is majority conservative. If they see it, it will likely go Trump's way. If it doesn't fantastic. Hopefully, they put the law over loyalty.
In this day and age of trump politics you certainly hope that the SC is still honest and the good thing is that trump only put 2 judges in the SC and the others were all appointed by other presidents. If we can't trust the SC to be fair and honest and uphold the laws then this country is in bigger trouble than we already are under this administration. Hard to believe that this administration is so honest that they refuse to bring forth any evidence to exonerate trump. Only guilty people try and hide things like they are doing.
A Manhattan-based 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled only 2-1, despite being 3 Obama appointees. Even the written decision is transparently biased and without merit. Major SCOTUS denial coming.

The only way the Supreme Court would shoot this ruling down is if the Trump cult has penetrated the Supreme Court more than just Kavanaugh.
