Damn we always here the same story every year. The East WILL have its fair share of injuries and disappointments, I don't buy the East getting stronger theory. if one team improves another regresses. I certianly believe the Raptors will improve their 47 win total and will make people eat their words yet again

So I wouldn't go calling us out.And whoever said "it's the same every year" that's complete bullsh**.Then why were the Raptors even remotely good last year? Because everything stayed the same? No they made improvements just like tons of teams in the east have. And if things are the same every year then how come in the past 5 seasons there's been 11 different teams in the top 5 seeds?DetroitMiamiBostonNew JerseyTorontoChicagoClevelandWashingtonIndianaNew OrleansPhiladelphiaToronto won the Atlantic division. Yeah that's impressive. Toronto improved because they made good additions and built around Chris Bosh the way they should. We sure won't run away with the title but I think it's gonna be Toronto fans who are eating their words when New Jersey and Boston are making you guys piss your pants as the season gets closer to a finish.

Playa, I remember you saying the exact same thing last season coming into the season and we won the division. I dont expect things to change. For Boston to improve by as much as we did is near impossible because you guys were at a worse point than we were last season. Our only opponents are New Jersey, who did nothing to improve themselves as a team, except take Krstic off the IL which wont exactly put them over the hump.
Last season we didn't have Ray Allen and we were an injury filled team. And how are we not one of your opponents? We have arguably one of the best 3-man duos in the East. And how can we not improve as much as Toronto did? Is there some sort of limit to how much a team can improve?

To add, you guys are really really overrating the Cavs and the Bulls in the regular season last year. The Cavs won 3 more games than us, and the Bulls won 2. For you to say that we are not even up there with them is ridiculous. Theres no reason to believe Toronto will win LESS than they did last year, we added pieces not took away. If we sign a rebounder this draft and a slasher, we would be a 50 win team no problem, its not that far away for us.

You guys added Ray Allen, Glen Davis, and LOST Delonte West.

Ive been saying bringing in a vet who can basically play the same position as Pierce (I know he doesn't) is a wrong move. They both have the same mentality on the floor, and wont compliment eachother. Im telling you guys both of them wont average 25+ ppg only one will. Its like larry hughes and lebron james (no im not comparing them to ray allen and pierce) BUT larry hughes plays exactly like Lebron, just Lebron does it better. Larry hughes is not a pass first point gaurd, and prefers to score first. Lebron as youve seen is a forward that prefers to pass first, therefore, when it should be Hughes doing the passing and Lebron doing the scoring it should be reversed, they dont compliment each other.

If you played 82 games (and arent playing anymore), the .500 mark is 41 games. Our win percentage (47/82) is .573
