I actually disagree, but this isnt going to go anywhere. My opinion as stated is it just showed what their priorities really are. I dont think well be changing each other minds, so consider the topic dropped on my end. Hope you have a good evening, and maybe we’ll see each other on a different thread.
Trump is now and has always been a socially liberal, fiscally agressive, Constitutionally conservative Independent.
Trump is surely whatever you believe him to be, Maris. We're off to see the Wizard, the wonderful Wizard of Oz... barfo
Is there a pirate character in the wizard of oz? I always pictured our conversations more like Im adventuring to neverland and your captain hook!
Socially liberal enough to do the right thing for Dreamers or enough to make it reasonable for minorities to register to vote? Fiscally aggressive enough to not bust the bank and accelerate the national debt growth and not create an annual deficit of near record proportions during a time of growing national economy? Constitutionally Conservative enough to not lose nearly all of his federal court battles?
Nunes tells Schiff he needs 'rehabilitation' after IG report: 'Admit you have a problem' By Ronn Blitzer | Fox News Rep. Devin Nunes: We need to know what the FISA court is really doing California Congressman Devin Nunes, Republican ranking member of the House Intelligence Committee demands Schiff to call on IG Horowitz to testify before House Intelligence Committee. House Intelligence Committee ranking member Rep. Devin Nunes, R-Calif., told committee chairman Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., that he is "in need of rehabilitation" after a Justice Department Inspector General report on the FBI's Russia investigation and its use of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) contradicted Schiff's past assertions. In a 2018 memo, Schiff dismissed Nunes' concerns about the FBI's use of a FISA warrant to monitor former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page. The IG report confirmed that the FBI's warrant applications included 17 "significant errors and omissions," including a doctored email and reliance on unverified information from British ex-spy Christopher Steele. "After publishing false conclusions of such enormity on a topic directly within this committee's oversight responsibilities, it is clear you are in need of rehabilitation, and I hope this letter will serve as the first step in that vital process," Nunes said in a Sunday letter. Schiff's memo downplayed Steele's role and denied FBI wrongdoing, saying, "FBI and DOJ officials did not 'abuse' the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) process, omit material information, or subvert this vital tool to spy on the Trump campaign." Schiff also claimed at the time that the DOJ "made only narrow use of information from Steele's sources" for the Page warrant. Nunes listed these statements and others, such as how the FBI conducted a "rigorous process" when vetting Steele's information, noting that "[t]he IG report exposed all these declarations as false." IG Michael Horowitz's report indicated that Steele's information was not properly vetted, yet was key in convincing attorneys to give the go-ahead to the FISA warrant application, which was previously deemed a "close call." Nunes recognized Schiff's acknowledgment of the "issues and errors" described in Horowitz's report, but said that his opposition to concerns raised by Attorney General Bill Barr and Connecticut U.S. Attorney John Durham -- who is conducting a broader probe of the Russia investigation's origins -- "makes it clear your rehabilitation will be a long, arduous process." Nunes cited Schiff's failure to use his committee to conduct proper oversight while using it "as a launching pad to impeach the president for issues that have no intelligence component at all." He accused him of "hijacking" the committee, claiming, "As part of your rehabilitation, it's crucial that you admit you have a problem." Schiff's office did not immediately respond to Fox News' request for comment about the letter, but in an interview with "Fox News Sunday," Schiff acknowledged the FBI's issues as described in Horowitz's report, and claimed he "would have called out the FBI" had he known of them. The GOP ranking member called on the Democratic chairman to call Horowitz before their committee "at the nearest opportunity." Horowitz has already appeared before the Senate Judiciary Committee, and is scheduled for another hearing before the Senate Homeland Security Committee. https://www.foxnews.com/politics/nu...s-in-scathing-letter-admit-you-have-a-problem
Fuck. Now I have to send the team another email about the forum. I accidentally found this post. Yep, now we have a post about Trump getting hit by a bus and it got multiple likes
Anyone who says that I like to tell racist jokes doesn't know his ass from a hole in the ground. Haven't enjoyed racist jokes in 60 years. No need to lie about it. I know you hate me but why?
I don't hate you in any way, Lanny, but come on. Nobody said you like to tell racist jokes, but you quite literally posted a racist joke. Yes, context matters, but seriously. You put the forum in a poor light by posting those terrible words on the boards.
Somebody did say it and I can quote it from someone who obviously hates me, and I don't mean you. if you'd like. I had no idea that I put the forum in a poor light when I used me example of racism in old Oswego. If I had known that you can bet I never would have said it. If I had known there was a rule against using the joke, even as an example of something evil, I never would have used it. Why? There are several reasons two of which come to the top of my head: 1. I do not want to be thought of us uncaring about racism even the slightest and I would never do anything to embarrass the group; 2. I follow all rules. The lone exception that I can think of was when I disobeyed a sergeant's order because I knew it to be unlawful.
Which part are you objecting to? It can't be the part about someone in here accusing me of liking racist jokes 'cause I can back that up. So, it must be the part about somehow not caring about the group. Also, I have an idea what SMH stands for but I'm not really up on my vernacular so maybe you can clarify and then you can speak directly about just what it is that you seem to be objecting to. I can't stand beating around the bush.
I'm Shaking My Head (SMH) at the part I bolded. That you follow all rules. You didn't by posting a racist joke and multiple derogatory terms. Apologize all you want, but you still did it.
I didn't know that rule as I have stated before. Also, as I have stated before, if I had known that rule I never would have broken it. I've also repeatedly apologized for breaking a rule even though I didn't know of it. Somehow, there are a few people who cannot accept that and I sonder why which means they've got some deep rooted grudge against me. Don't you think a person deserves to know why someone has a grudge against them, particularly a deep rooted grudge?
Honestly, IDC (I Don't Care), but come on. Don't act holier than thou. Breaking a rule and then saying you didn't know the rule so it's totally fine because I didn't disobey my seargents orders one time is just a joke.
