http://www.sportstwo.com/ViewText/264088Quote:CLEVELAND (Ticker) -- The Cleveland Cavaliers on Saturday extended qualifying offers to swingman Sasha Pavlovic and forward Anderson Varejao. Expected move, but should we extend an offer to either player ourselves? Pavlovic showed more dimension to his game than I initially thought, and with George's likely departure, he'd be a nice pick to step in. I could see offering the MLE to him.Varejao is a guy no team would turn down with his ability and maniacal presense, but would we even have a shot? I'm skeptical.
I don't know... Varejao's alright. I can't imagine us being able to meet whatever another team offers. Maybe I'm wrong on that. I wouldn't mind Pavlovic, though.
I think the only thing that would take Varejao to Dallas is the fact Dallas is going to be contenders for a number of years, but teams like Orlando and Memphis can make better offers than Dallas can. I dont see him leaving Cleveland though...if he does its because of PT.
Wrong section. Though I can see how a person can confuse Cleveland Cavaliers with Dallas Mavericks. They are nearly identical.

I just read the sentence after the Quote: thinking it was an article. On subject, I think with Cleveland quickly making offers and having the right to match them, leaves us with little chance of signing either. Plus, I'd only like Varejao. I don't think Pavlovic fits what we need as a wing, his shot is bad.
