You have to have the self awareness to realize that with your posting style it's impossible to know your intentions joking or not.

I'm on Blazers Uprise for fun. I don't get paid and I have a job/career already so I'm not trying to "make it" in media. Nor could anyone do anything to "finish" our show since we have never broken any YouTube rules. So the funny part of your joke would've been if you actually thought you had enough influence to do anything about it.

What was surprising to me was @TorturedBlazerFan's reaction to it considering everything that has gone on in here lately.

 

I just dont delete stuff very often. If someone threatened to come to my house and beat me up, it wouldnt matter to me if it was deleted from a forum post or not. The threat would either be credible or its not whether its in writing doesn't matter. My reaction for most things has been to tell people they need change their actions, then if they dont then to actually have actions. Its how I parent my kids, its just the way my mind works. I explain to them why they shouldnt do something, what I plan to do if they continue to do it and then let them make a decision for if they’re gonna continue doing what I asked them not to do or do something else.

This poster AFAIK has 0 to do with the other situation, I dont think I have ever seen him in OT and may or may not even know all the stuff going on over there, I cant just assume he knows it because I know it.

You may not agree with me and thats fine, but I wasn't condoning it. CC’s right tho it really doesnt belong and I probably should have deleted it. I thought about it, but went with what felt more natural which was my response.

I hate when posts are deleted. I think they should be left up to show people's true colors.

As a mod though it's your responsibility to enforce the rules of the forum. Of course people should be allowed to joke around in here but that post took it too far.

I agree that it's good you all have your own style, but a post like that has no business being allowed in this forum.

I don't necessarily see one about threatening people, there is some stuff about how mods/staff see fit to do things.

I said I thought he was joking, that's why I "moderated" it the way I did. There isn't a rule that everything that falls under this thing gets deleted rule. There is however room for mods to react differently to different things. I monitored it, responded to it other mods were aware of it. I don't feel like I shirked my responsibility, but if you do, I can respect that.
