    Not in the playoffs he hasn't. His ineptitude shines through in the playoffs. It has almost every single year.

    Sadly, the guy will be here as long as Dame wants him.

    It has always been considered in the mix when its in the West for the last 6 years. This year might be a bit different but in 2014 the West was where it was at.

    The 538 one is the only one that really has then at contender level. Espn had then 4th in the west. SB nation had them third, and only because they suffused the Thunder due to Durant recovering from injury. SI also had then 4th in the conference, as did Bleacher Report. And of course all of these were after the draft, free agency, and preseason, after which point people could already see the impact of Kerr's influence. Look at post 2014-playoff power rankings and you see something very different. Warriors more like 10th in the league.

    Again,nobody said the warriors weren't good prior to Kerr's hiring, but discounting him as simply having been given a contender and having had little to do with that status is simply revisionist history.

    Wait a minute. I'm doing this wrong. It COULD snow somewhere on Christmas day. Because of global warming, the chances of that occurring are much less this year. Pics or it didn't happen....

    It's honestly funny to me that i can post three links and you can comment on two more that have them in the top of the NBA but still say he was not given a contender.

    OK lets put Hoops spin on it
    Or this- "Not one person thought, "you know what? GS is going to be the #1 seed next year and win the title, they are that good!"

    Kind of seems like a bunch of people had GS as a championship roster. Or at the very least a contender. I most certainly have not been "Lying".

    Go peddle that narrative somewhere else because i just destroyed it.

    I guess everyone else is crazy. Making the playoffs has nothing to do with having a championship level roster.

    Both can be true but making the playoffs doesn't automatically make the second part true.

    This is what i was saying is muddying the waters.
    The comment was not about draft. This comment was about Curry being the real deal by the time Kerr took the job. But of course throwing in the draft year works to make this look like there might have been a question. Nobody on the thread said anything about when he was taken in the draft.

    The draft as far as Curry was concerned was never brought up Hoops. We were talking about Green and him being drafted in the 2nd round.

    It's not even about that. I have shown multiple pre season projections that had them contending in 2014. The original statement he made was that anyone saying that they were is lying. Not the case at all.

    It's not confusing hoops.Go read the thread and you will see nobody was talking about Curry and his draft position. I quoted multiple statements you made. All of them were wrong. But yes.

    Im sorry for mentioning Kerr... So in terms of Stotts and the thread itself. Is he the answer long term?
    Ive stated my opinion on it, and Id love for him and the Blazers to prove me wrong, but the larger point seems to have been missed so that we could discuss Kerr and how good he is or isnt. Kerrs ability to coach or lack there of isnt really an argument for or against the Blazers coaching situation.
