I wonder how long it will take before the Blazer "brain trust" admits this isn't our year and starts to think about next season?

Tonight our offense was good enough to but our defense continue to struggle majority of the game. Who ever took over the defense duties should be fire because he know clue. When you have someone drive in the middle you can't everyone collapse in the middle and leaving 3 point shot open not at this level.

    doesn't really matter...he scored 31 points on 17 shots...that's 1.82 points a shot which is outstanding. He also had 9 of Portland's 18 assists

Yeah 5-13 would be pretty good. 4-13 is a bit low. Not much to complain about.

I don't think so; the game was so out of reach by then that he had to really hurry. He also got fouled twice on his drive.

ISO can have negative side effects.
    1. It stagnates your players who stand around watching.
2, Dame often forces it to the hoop too much, the defense tunes in to that, and checks him at the rim resulting in 5 on 4’s. CJ even more so fails to find teammates.

I’m contrast, If you’re James Harden and they just can’t stop it: Step back threes, layups, fouls, alley oops, kick out 3’s. Then it’s not too much. It’s involving other players a lot too.

But if your ISO is performing equal to your non ISO and becomes the Dame or CJ only show, it’s too much because it is too stagnating.

Time for Dame to get some time management.

That's the kind of fools' gold that impresses casual fans. The people running the team should be smarter then that!

Point was kind of that there were like 5 TOs in the last 2-3 mins. Not sure CJs was any worse at that point.

With Nurk Collins and Hood, we'd beat the Lakers. Clips and Utah are better now!

We're 7th in the NBA in eFG% in isolation situations.

Dame's eFG% in ISO is 53.8%, which is higher than our team eFG%.

We score 50.8% of the time when Dame goes ISO. Houston scores 46.1% of the time when Harden goes ISO.
