If I had all the money in the world there's four sports cars I'd have:
1. A fire red Ferrari;
2. A yellow Lamborghini (why yellow? I dunno, just seems to fit a Lamborghini);
3. A British racing green Aston Martin;
4. A fire red Corvette.

You have good taste, Lanny.

You have good taste, Lanny.
All these years I've had to satisfy myself with Volvos. Yep, I ain't that wealthy.
The Volvos turned out to be good choices because I got a lot of reliable miles out of all of them. Gonna get a new one, their best, fully loaded in about two to three months. They don't have another like it in the U.S. so it's being specially ordered from the factory. Can't wait, it's even got something called parallel park assist. My wife is terrible at parallel parking.

That was a cool video! I have always wanted a 80's Countach since high school. Realistically, a used one can probably be bought for less than what @Lanny is going to pay for his new rig. The problem I see? You can't exactly buy parts off of Rockauto or ebay. I'd fix the thing myself, but do one of you guys happen to have a service manual laying around, that I can borrow for a bit???

In my experience Vulvas are more satisfying.

Vulva? Huh?

That's because you have not yet reached my age. This is your future. Aha, now you know how exciting your future is. You will drool over Volvos, literally drool. Of course you'll be drooling over anything below your chin. When somebody mentions a vulva you'll go "Huh?"

I use to buy a repair manual with each Volvo I bought. I then got my parts from IPD, here in Portland, and from various wrecking yards. I wanted a quality car but couldn't afford the big bucks of taking it to a Volvo dealer for repair. The lone exceptions were for major work such as replacing a water pump or body work. Body work was always because somebody else hit me so their insurance paid for that. Oh, one time I bent a spindle while making donuts in the snow and hit a curb. Had to have that repaired at a Volvo dealer. But did my own timing, muffler and exhaust system work, my own driveline repairs (u-joints). Fixed my drivers side roll up window. Repaired my distributor many times finally replacing it. Did all my oil changes and filter changes of all sorts. Did my own brake work. Tried doing some minor paint touch up but never really did a good job. Installed a rear window defroster one time. Changed all my own tires until I learned that Les Schwab would do it for free if it meant changing street tires for snow tires and vice versa. Changed all my lights and broken lenses. Adjusted my head lights. Changed my thermostat. Never tried replacing my radiator but can't recall needing to do so. Did most of my battery replacements.

Had to hitch hike for gas once. My wife was with me and I must have heard "I told you we should have stopped for gas even at an expensive station, I told you so" about a Million times and yet I never uttered a word in response. Why? Because I'm a saint.
