So let me guess... Dame-CJ-Bazemore-Melo-Whiteside struggling with the 9 win Knicks is due to injuries now too

Neil Olshey thinks the fans are complete idiots... he talks championship with the Nurk injury baked into cake, while he is using more resources than any other GM in The NBA with his league high $147 mil payroll. Then we essentially swap Collins and Hood for Melo... and somehow that is enough to push propaganda to every local Blazers broadcast that this is only because of injuries... 14-21 record and getting blown out by 24 points to the 9 win Knicks

We “swap Hood and Collins” for Melo? You have a really odd view of reality.

Neil went all of in on last years fluke playoff run... he had over 5 years of evidence that this team was mediocre and as soon as he got one decent playoff run he went all in... and now Paul is not here to hold him accountable... very sad for the fans. $147 million payroll and 7 games under .500 near mid season, with a 24 point blowout by Knicks.

How is this an odd view of reality. We lost Collins and Hood, we gained Melo... those are facts.

Well, sure, but it’s not as though losing Hood and Collins was something that could be planned for. And Melo is fine as a replacement, but he basically has the same lift when he jumps now as Zach Randolph.

So Neil built a team so fragile (spending league high $147 mil) that if the team didn’t have perfect health, the Dame/CJ pairing who is HEALTHY and getting 70-85 mil contact extensions into their 30’s isn’t good enough to lead a the team to a respectable record. The wind blows the wrong way and everything falls apart... nice explanation.

2/5ths of your starting lineup going down for the season is a bit more than the wind blowing the wrong way. its a fucking tornado that turned directions and plowed through your house. No one is going to plan for that. come on now....

Zach hadn’t proved anything yet except that he was a foul machine and below average rebounder. He was averaging 9 pts and 4 rbs this season. And Blazers were 8-12 befor Hood went down. Other teams lose much better players to injury and with much lower payrolls and continue to win. So the net affect of losing Zach and Hood but gaining Melo explains being 7 games under .500?! If CJ is with th big dollars he is paid, we should at least be around the same level as the OKC Thunder.

That's simply your opinion. Not facts. You add gaining Melo like that is something Remember the word on him before he came here? Stop feeding your narrative with a bunch of crap. 9pts and 4 rbs this season doesn't figure in how he sets screens and provides spacing for the guards... or many other exceptions I wont bother to point out because they wont fit your narrative you keep repeating 50 times a day in every thread... for the 50th moniker....

Almost time for you to create a new account. You are wearing this one out quickly.

Everyone knows your opinion. Why do you keep insisting on force feeding it to us, when we don't make the team decisions? If you are this adamant, write management a damn letter and ease off the forum please....

Its like you think posting the same thing over and over in every thread will actually change things. You know what they say about the person who does the same thing over and over and expects different results don't you?
Is your end game here to just annoy and piss everyone off or is it to discuss the Blazers?

If my opinion gets you so hot and bothered, then put me on ignore. I can only talk about the current state of the team. Nothing has changed for me to change my view. If I disagree with what someone post, I am allowed to respond to it.

Your opinion doesn't get me hot and bothered. Your insistence on shoving it down everyone's throat every day in every thread can be annoying though. There is such a thing as class and tact. Look it up. It might help you pinpoint MY point.

I'm also allowed to tell you to shut up every time you speak too, but I wont.. because I have some class and respect. Just because you are allowed to do something, doesn't mean you should. Word of advice for life in general. Its served me well and taught me many a lesson.
If your goal is to have most people here put you on ignore so you converse with yourself mostly, you are on the right track.

So the people that defend Neil, Stotts, and this roster with the injury excuse are ok to defend them over and over but I can only criticize them once and then be quiet... sounds fair. I guess with your logic no one should post anything because there is nothing new to discuss, or else it’s just repetition. Maybe we should lock the entire forum until something changes. Again, you can always put me on ignore.

Didn't Denver have a million injuries last season, but managed to get the 2nd seed before bending the knee to the mighty Blazers? At some point i think they were missing three starters, Barton, Harris and Millsap, but kept winning.
If your three best players remain healthy you should be able to be competitive, we are not competitive.

They defend mostly to just go against your posts at this point I think. Hell im arguing with you just to argue now because there is nothing else to do with you. You don't listen to points made and double down on your own repetition. Make a point and learn to move on. Don't bounce form thread to thread making the same point over and over. I mean, do what you want.. but what you have been doing is the same thing you have been doing for a couple years now. After how many monikers, how far has that got you? You criticize this team for not making changes. Look in the mirror. How can you criticize them for doing the same thing you do? Stand pat and double down?

I mean. come on man. wake up and smell your behavior.

So that's your answer? Ignore you. You don't want to look at your own behavior as any type of reasoning as to why so many people are " against" you here?

    Here is something you need.

You know. You can always put me on ignore too. see how that works? :)

I don’t have multiple accounts bro. I don’t know who you think I am. And please don’t act like you are my father telling me how to post. I will continue to respond if I disagree with something... even if my message is repetitive. And I am not bothered by others opinions, even if repetitive, and would never put someone on ignore. Then what is the point of a sports forum.

Who is against me?? I’m pretty sure there are just as many, if not more, that agree with me. You are now making stuff up in your head.
