Can't rebound, Lowry has been the best player on the floor and they've hit a few more of their open threes.

Decently entertaining 24 minutes of basketball all in all though.

Especially early. Both teams moved the ball well, got up and down and the lack of fouls gave the game a nice flow.

This is not about the crap players. We getting beaten by totally depleted teams, even the worst team wizards with G league players had us on the rope until last 4 min of 4th quater, we struggle mightily against total garbage teams, forget about trades, this is terry stotts WORST Coach by a mile in NBA, how is it possible that G league players 2nd and 3rd units are as good as our starters. There is zero ball movement, Lillard ISO Melo ISO CJ ISO , Simmons ISO, nobody plays defense, this worst team i have seen. Stots needs to be fired ASAP

Raptors ball movement is completely destroying the Blazers defensive scheme.
Their 10 assists is the difference in this game.
Portland has 9, but 10 is much better. I mean you can't get a triple double with only 9. 10 is the superior number.

Portland behind and losing games this season has nothing to do with their rebounding.
Clearly the 13 offensive rebounds Toronto had in the first half didn't change the game at all.
Nope it's their assists & their superior ball movement.

At times I feel for Whiteside on defense, but he does spend a lot of time flat-footed watching the ball.

This is exactly why it grinds my gear to hear media spin this as injury only... other teams have lost better players and continue to win.

This whole team just goes through the motions like they’ve given up. There are possessions where you see the potential.

that one possession near the end of the quarter where Melo got the foul called on him....the whole team is scrambling and engaged. Even though it ended in a foul you see how the effort makes it hard on the other team. But for 99% of this game and every other game, they just play like robots. There’s no energy, no hustle. It’s like they’ve assigned themselves to losing.

Whiteside has flaws but I legit wonder if we would win any games without him.

Portland may be down 10, but they're only down 1 on the assist category, which is more important!

I keep telling myself there's no point in watching, then I watch. Maybe I need to chew on tinfoil while I watch...make it more enjoyable; or shave my head with a cheese-grater

Say what you wan't about your belief in the stat, and yes some of the players we are dealing are being based off extremely small samples....but

    (3-year rapm)
    *Before this year
    * Set to show all players in bottom right

    Terrible on mobile fyi

The talent gap between these groups of players is pretty slim. If anything, it's in Toronto's favor.

Not that I even want to win at this point, but the whole team is in chill mode. They don’t exhibit any of the tendencies of a winning team, talent or not.

Wizards beat Miami, Denver, and Boston this past week. We’re the only team that could solve them. As for tonight, we’re sharing the ball but people aren’t hitting the shots. Initial defense is good but obviously we aren’t grabbing the defensive rebound to end the play.
