The key component to this squad is teamwork. If star players like Eric Gordon and D.J. White are able to mesh with the rest of the roster and work togethe, IU could go all the way. They are certainly talented enough, it's just a matter of how far they want to go.Predicted Finish - Final 4

Wow you're an idiot, you don't even know who our head coach is. Ratliff will probably be starting over Ellis and I hope that bench isn't in order of who will make the most impact. The success of the whole season basically comes down to DJ and how well he can hold up. If he can play up to his potential, then this team can win a Big Ten title and possibly a national title.

I think Ellis is the starter, and Ratliff will get major time off the bench at the 1 2 and 3. No, the bench is not in order of impact, duh! I'm not worried about DJ, I'm worried about chemistry and teamwork

Your comment about how Eli Holman needs to keep his head on his shoulders is off. Don't let the suspension fool you. Yes he shoved a ref. People make mistakes. He got caught up in his emotions and screwed up once. From what I've read and heard Holman is a pleasure to coach, polite, and has a good head on his shoulders, etc. Plus he was able to stay out of trouble in school and on the streets in a very troubled neighborhood(he lives in the town Coach Carter took place in which is 20 minutes away from me) and maintained good grades. His discipline won't be a problem at all.

The only reason I wonder this is because college is such a new enviroment, but I believe 99% he will be fine

You just think they will because you are an Indiana fan. And evn if he isn't brilliant, he is likely smarter than you.

I think DJ White is overrated as a scorer and a player.. I'm guessing you watch the IU games, do you guys have any other recruits/returning players that can score? other than Eric Gordon...

When he's on - he is one heck of a player, but other times he's just not in the game, he seems to be in lala landOther players on the team who can score: Jordan Crawford, Jamarcus Ellis, and A.J. Ratliff (Dude can flat out score, he can shoot, he's a scoring machine), Eli Holman is decent, Mike White and Deandre Thomas tooBut I expect the Gordon, White combo to produce at least 40 ppg together, and then the rest of the players to put in 30-40 pppg

You never know when he is going to show up and play hard. And I wouldn't put too much stock into the JC transfers. There is a reason why they went to JC first.

It will take them a while to get used to the higher level of play of D-1 basketball. I expect those players to have a decent 1st year @ IU and a very solid 2nd year.

THe 2 junoir college players can probably go for 10 points and 5-7 rebounds every night each. A.J. Ratliff can put up 10 ppg pretty easily. Eli Holman is a great defender. It's a good supporting cast

I just don't think they are a great team, and that's why I don't think they will make the Final 4.
