I never did anything like that. I was taught by my father to treat women with respect at all times. For example I'm pretty sure I never kissed a girl on a first date. There was one time when I was young and stupid where I had too much to drink at a party and too much to smoke as well. So, I politely offered a young lady a ride to her home in Salem. On the way we discussed a mutual friend whom she had briefly dated and whom I knew in the Army. I must have been out of my young mind when I told her that I was never interested in her. She got indignant and replied that she had never been interested in me either. I knew I had blundered but it wasn't until the next morning when the fog in my mind cleared that I realized exactly why or how much I must have offended her. That memory still haunts me today, which is the sign of a conscience. I'm sure I've made my share of other dumb blunders but that's the only one that comes to my memory right now. I've made plenty of blunders in other areas when I was younger.
