I've definitely heard this term too many times to describe a teams roster, and it seems to be pretty prevalent in the league. For Example: Orlando has a PG log-jam (Nelson, Arroyo, Dooling, Diener)What's the log-jam of your team?

GUARDS!Billups, Rip, Hunter, Flip Murray, Afflalo, Stuckey, Mejia*(Will probably play overseas), Acker**(Could come over from overseas)Hopefully we can trade Flip Murray, and Hunter will be a player-coach this season, just helping the young guys, being a mentor, etc. I'm not even sure if he'll be on the active roster. But still, eight possible guards...

The two guard would be it for the Jazz, unfortinately its the weekest spot for the team.Giricek, Brewer, Miles,Almond, Harpring, Kirilenko. last year you could add Fisher there too, also Williams and Millsap have even seen minutes there.I understand having a logjam, especially for a team like the Jazz. the theory is by doing this you create compitition and the best player will win out.

Ariza, Bogans, Dooling and Redick are a log jam in itself. I wish we had the same log jam at the big men spots, but I guess we will have to wait and see.

The wing positions, in Boston. Paul Pierce, Ray Allen, Tony Allen, and Gerald Green. Then you have Ryan Gomes who is becoming more of a 3 by the month and Gabe Pruitt is a combo guard (though he will likely be groomed as a 1 in Boston).

The Pacers kinda have one at the 3, but it wouldn't be a problem at all if they had been smart and drafted Marcus Williams over Shawne Williams back in 06.

In Memphis, I guess it's at PG. We have Conley Jr., Lowry, and Stoudamire. I think Stoudamire will serve more or less as the mentor to Conley Jr. and Lowry, who will both recieve a good amount of playing time.

Unfortunately we don't have a logjam. Hopefully we'll have a logjam at G this year because it'll mean we'll be able to go 10 deep.

Center:Brendan HaywoodEtan ThomasCalvin BoothMicheal RuffinOleksiy Pecherov------Haywood is likely gone before the end of the off-season. Ruffin and Booth are free-agents but apparently the news is that Booth may be re-signing with the Veteran's exception. None of these guys are consistent post scorers. Without Haywood our post defense will suffer as well.
