I have a dream that one day the Blazers will recall Moses Brown....

I have a dream that one day the Blazers will change up their defensive scheme....

I have a dream that one day the Blazers will win a game.....

I couldn't vote in the poll; not enough info yet. If trade was made to save enough money so that Jody ok's a deal for a very good player, then I give it an A If made just to save money, I give it an F

Finally the black and red jerseys. I’ve missed them.

I also wouldn’t be surprised if Moses got called up and played in this one. Need the bodies, especially down low.

They've needed size up front for quite a while now. Not sure what is taking so long. Maybe Stotts is afraid it will affect his winning percentage and asked Neil to leave him in the G-League.

it may not be that particular either/or situation...it might be that the either was: this is the best they could do; and the or was: do nothing

IMO, people have been overrating the value of Portland's 2 big expiring contracts, but there's still time to trade Whiteside and get two 2nd round picks back to replace the one they traded yesterday. That could be an 'either'. The 'or' could be that people have been over-estimating Jody Allen's willingness to pay gobs and gobs of salary and tax, this year and next. I mean, since it became clear what direction this season was headed, when was the last time she showed up for a game?

Maybe she likes watching on TV? :) I try to be optimistic.

It was cool watching Mark Cuban run out on the court and hug Luka in the fourth quarter after he made that dagger three to pretty much ice the game. I wish the Blazers had an owner that well connected to the team. Yes i know it's a curse as well as a blessing but i would like to see that.

Looks to me like we have them in every department.

You were correct. Moses has been called up.

If Gary, Dame, and Mario are questionable, does that mean our line up could be Simons/Melo/Hoard/Little/Whiteside with Moses our only bench player?

:banghead2: Fair warning: I am in a sour mood, so if you want rainbows and unicorns, this isn't the place to look!

1) If the Blazers are trying to win, their 41% record stinks. If they are tanking, their 41% stinks. This is the very definition of a team that can't get anything right. Last year's feel good season may as well have happened when Dr Jack was coaching.

2) In the last game, Trent, Simons, and Little were all given the chance to step up. Only Trent did so. I'm sure people will lecture me on how that means nothing. Bull-Dada! This is one of the things that separates someone like Dame or Roy from someone like Batum or Rudy. If Simons and Little keep coming up small under pressure, it will soon be time for next-man-up. The Blazers need a healthy dose of Darwinism - and have needed it for some time.

They're 19 and 20....

Curious to the voters that graded the trade d+ or lower as to your explanation why?

They're 19 and 20....

Trent is also 20 and was drafted later than either Simons or Little. Skal is 23 and was drafted earlier and he has already established himself as no more than a deep bench guy. This isn't an issue that can be defined by age or draft position - it's personality (for lack of a better word).

Then again, it may be something as simple as the fact that only 1 of these 4 kids grew up with an ex-NBA player who drilled it into him that no matter how much talent you have, you can't take success for granted!

Edit: my bad, Trent just turned 21 didn't he?

Simple - this was a deal made for non-basketball reasons. I understand the financial motive - but as a fan, why should I care? The only reason I went with a "D" rather than an "F" is the remote chance Ariza still has enough in the tank to be an up-grade on Baze.

After this game the GSW will have what, 10 wins? And 2 of them will be against Portland?
I choose to remember 2015-16 when GSW only had 9 losses and one of them was a blowout by the Blazers.

Tremt was the most NBA ready of the 3.

You were correct. Moses has been called up.

He should play too. If they don’t think he’s a better option at the five than Hezonja etc, then idk why they even gave him a contract.

Btw here are his numbers in the g league

19mpg
14.8 ppg
7.6 rpg (4.1 offensive)
1.3 bpg
65% FG
28.7 PER

He’s been super productive but he’s also so much taller than everyone else. He’s taller than most dudes in the nba too, but his lack of play strength is gonna be a bigger issue imo. He should be good for 15 minutes tomorrow night.
