I have to say I am a bit disappointed in who they picked to play Agent 47. The dude that plays the bad guy in the New Die Hard, Timothy Olyphant. He'll probably do alright though. I really believed Jason Statham should have played the part. He's the guy that was in the 'Transporter' movies. He would have been perfect..eh. I have always been a fan of the Hitman videogame series. I will definitely go see this although the trailer wasn't THAT great.

If anything, Agent 47 kills on stealth alone...I don't think he'd be a hitman for long with all those explosions. Hopefully this doesn't become a "Mission Impossible/007" movie where things blow up every five minutes...
Re: Hitman 'The Movie' I saw the preview before Die Hard a few days ago, have to say I was unimpressed, especially like it's been said, with the lead going to Tim Olyphant who is a good actor but someone who just doesn't fit the look of Hitman.

I'm a huge fan of the games also, but this lost all credibility with me after watching the second trailer, and finding out he will speak with an American accent. Video Game movies never work.... Resident Evil has worked ok but that is no Video Game Movie Award either. Hitman is using the name, logo and Characters but I do believe it will become a Mission Impossible meets James Bond kind of movie. I do believe that it may be a little boring to watch him sneak around for 2 hours so they added more action and probably a hot girl in there to mix it up.</p> I could be wrong and to tell you all the truth, I actually hope that I am dead wrong. If not all I can say is another Tomb Raider.</p>
