Um, you might want to check again, just sayin'.

It ruins your whole shtick if you praise a player like Wiggins who is worse than CJ.

Wiggins is only 24, has improved this year, and has great size at 6’7... CJ will be 30 soon and isn’t improved at anything in 5 years

Wiggins is awful on both ends of the court and his numbers have mostly all regressed back to his career averages after a hot shooting start of the season.

Minny has won only 5 games since the end of November. They've lost 10 straight. Something's gotta give.

Also, how frustrating is it that we got blown out by them?

Wiggins isn't a guy who helps you win games. He puts up big stats on bad teams, and is a much worse fit next to Dame than CJ.

With all due respect, The same thing was said about Kevin Garnett and Kevin Love when they played at Minnesota. I don't think that's all that fair to say that about a player that's only played for one team.

    Wiggins isnt Love or Garnett.

Kevin Garnett played elite defense (Wiggins sucks at that) and he also was an elite passer/playmaker for his position (Wiggins isnt close).

Kevin Love was more efficient and an elite rebounder.

Yes, it is fair. Minnesota isn't holding him back. He's had every opportunity to show growth, but has stagnated as an inefficient scorer who sucks at everything else.

Love had that empty stats, loser label on him during his entire Minny tenure. I wouldn't trade CJ for Wiggins because of basketball fit, but wouldn't be totally opposed to taking him on if Minny would throw in some incentives either.

Locking us into a roster for years by taking on Wiggins who's a terrible fit and doesnt help you win would be a travesty.

The Blazers need to say no to the flashy names on bad 3+ year contracts that cant shoot well, dont defend, and need the ball in their hands to be effective. (i.e. Aaron Gordon, Andrew Wiggins, etc.)

CJ must go. But I’d trade him with our #1 pick and filler for Beal.

dame and beal would be something

What if CJ for Wiggins were the cost of Minny agreeing to a Whiteside for RoCo/Dieng deal?

If Minny throws in Culver or their pick to take on Wiggins in exchange for salary relief, you wouldn't even consider it?

Wiggins? You think my hypothetical trade was about getting fricking Wiggins? As far as I’m concerned, the Blazers could waive him or make him a ball boy. After reading endless threads and posts on here on the subject of GETTING RID OF CJ, I thought I would post a trade idea to actually accomplish it. I mean, obviously a massive amount of improvement would come from just getting rid of his 21.6 ppg/ 17.7 PER ball- dominant ass. If Wiggins is the cost of doing that business, so be it.

Hard to find a player not on their rookie deal getting more than 21ppg whos not making that kind of money.

And why does their age matter? Wiggins isnt improving... hes hasnt in years... CJ is not only the better player, but a much better fit.

I might do it for the asset, not for Wiggins.

Beal cant be traded this year, has been a worse defender than CJ this year, and has been a worse shooter than CJ the last two years.

I see a lot of fans have the "grass is greener" mindset.
