-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------NY PostArmed with two new trade pawns in the expiring contracts of Dan Dickau and Fred Jones, the New York Knicks are poised to make a run at Sacramento Kings forward Ron Artest.Character doesn't seem to be a concern anymore now that the Knicks traded for Zach Randolph, and small forward is a need for New York.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------I guess Isiah thinks if he can get their team chemistry to an ultimate low, then it may be a good thing for them.

Since this will probably happen somehow...we might as well bring Sheed in as well and really get this team in great shape.

How would help this team at all? First of all they still have a ton of cap clogging players on this team, and alot with bad attitudes (See Q-Rich), and now there going to take in Artets who is a cancer to each team he goes to? This would be a horrible move by the Knicks.

Artest is a great talent. But in their short time in the player/coach relationship in Indy they managed to have a public feud. Curry/Randolph/Artest on paper would easily be the best frontline in the NBA.

Please not Artest. We're turning into the Portland Weedblazers. Bunch of potheads and thugs now. I think that's what Isiah wants. He needs to bring in some cleaner cut players.

Guys, on local 1050 ESPN radio I heard Sacremento offered Artest for growing star David Lee and well, a bum by the name of Jared Jeffries.Right when Isiah hears Lee in the conversation, he must hang up, it's stupid to hear Lee in rumors with Artest.

Since they've gotten francis out I really dont think they have any ''bad seeds''. All this hate for the knicks has turned me into a semi-knick fan or at least supporter. I would love to see Artest on the Knicks. They need a strong defensive player on a very soft team. With Artest I wouldnt be surprised to see them as possible contenders once again but if all they're offering is fred jones and dan dickau I doubt they'll land him.
