Seriously? My goodness, it seems you are taking that WAY too seriously.

I legitimately have no idea what was the connection you were trying to make.

Here's my trade: CJ McCollum, Zach Collins, Nassir Little, Anfernee Simons, and Skal Labissiere for Karl Anthony Towns and Robert Covington. Minnesota sucks with Towns and Covington, they need a reboot. We have the players for that reboot. This could be a decent, young starting 5.

No longer interested in this discussion as I have shown examples, explained why it can be beneficial and some of the analysts have even mentioned sign and trades may become a tool for teams to use. Nothing more needs to be said.

Wait a minute. Portland could (could they? ) also take Wiggins bad contract in a trade of Whiteside. Wiggins isn't so bad this season. His true shooting percentage is the same as CJ McCollum.

At least I support my opinions and posts by backing up what I say. You just resort to making it personal every time (next post you'll tell me to "let it go") and not backing up your opinions.

A solution to the trade or keep Whiteside question could be about to present itself.

If Boston trades for Capela, Enes Kanter would probably have to be a part of that. Houston doesn't want Kanter and not only would he fit in the Baze TPE but we already know that he fits on the court as well. This would open up being able to trade Whiteside for whatever the best player is and not worry about getting back a center.

Houston has to have some decent size back from Boston if they deal Capela. Two of their 3 bigs are 37 y/0 garbage. The Lakers would simply destroy them in the playoffs. Portland should steer clear of Kanter. Hassan is better all around player than Enes, IMHO not even close. If Portland was real contender this year with a strong record, Hassan would have been in the All Star discussion or DPOTY talk.

If Portland were to trade for KAT.
They'd need Nurk to be part of that deal.

ATL wants to upgrade their center position.
Perhaps Portland could help with that.

    Whiteside out.
    Lin/Parker/Teague in.

Doesn't do much for the future, but does bolster the bench for the stretch run/playoffs.
Well... Other than telling Simons we've seen enough. Come back next year better.

I really can't see how this helps us now or in the future.

Last summer Miami signed Butler and Philly got Josh Richardson.

People need to stop with these Whiteside trades.
It's complete fantasy, Neil wouldn't do it to Lillard.

If Nurk had come back early early January, I could see us discussing Whiteside deals currently. If he's not coming back until after the all star break, I just don't see it happening.
