According to league sources, the Washington Wizards are considering possible trades involving centers Etan Thomas and Brendan Haywood. However, a source indicated that Thomas's contract contains a hefty trade kicker that would push his salary to about $7.3 million next season, and that has caused several teams to reconsider trade proposals for the veteran center.Washington Post-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Well, these are their 2 centers, so I'm wondering if they're looking to trade them for an upgraded big man, because if not, they are losing all their depth at the 5, which there is already a lot lacking.

If we can't get ourselves a guy like Marcus Camby in Boston, which more than likely will not happen, I've said plenty of times that Haywood would be at the top of my list for targets. Haywood would be perfect in Boston. The question is, what would we give up? If Ainge could somehow swing a deal for Haywood/Daniels for Ratliff's expiring contract + fillers, that would be outstanding.
