The Cleveland Cavaliers' Anderson Varejao, New Jersey Nets Mikki Moore and Orlando Magic's Darko Milicic are among the big men in which the Memphis Grizzlies have expressed interest.They plan to take a harder look at Milicic now that he is an unrestricted free agent. We really need a front-court defender, and Darko is that guy. His defense would compliment Gasol's offense in the front-court. He's still young, only 21, and the Grizzlies are a young team, even with Gasol, who is 26. I think if we can get Milicic we can contend for the playoffs.
I would love to have Darko for all the qaulities you mentioned, but we cant forget his offensive potential(which is far greater than Varejaos and Moores). Iavaroni has a reputation for making big men play to their potential, I would love for him to work with Darko.
