I've got a "Lil' Homie" that looks exactly like that Sanchez guy...haha. Wow the Blazers summer team is stacked.
Another good key matchup is Sergio Rodriguez vs. Rajon RondoMan I am pumped. This is what being a Celtics fan has come down to. Waiting desperately for friggin summer league games.
Gerald Green vs. Martell Webster is a matchup to look out for as well. Both were looked at as the top 2 high schoolers in 05, Portland picked Webster over Green (so far, Green is further along). I like them both.
WTF? I just looked on NBA TV and they are playing a WNBA game during this game. I thought it's on NBA TV.

Trail Blazers should win this. They got the better team. Not that I really care what happens in summer league games lol.

I'm definately going to watch this, my boy Taureen Green should get some PT, I can't wait to see how he handles himself out there. With Oden, Aldridge and Mcroberts out there, the Blazers should be able to win the battle in the paint, and on the boards, and I think they will win the game to go along with it.
Gerald got T'd up for jumping too high and "hanging on the rim" GG looks way better. He's tearin it up out there.
I made a Boston/Portland thread in General NBA without knowing about this one...the link to watch the game is in there.
Didn't get a chance to watch this, I went to a concert last night down the Cape. Any good things people saw? Also, how random is Zendon Hamilton?

He made him work very hard for position, got Oden a little frustrated, muscled him, and Powe actually finished! Last season, he would miss 3/5 layups. I know this is just one game, in summer league mind you, but it was nice to see him handle Oden and finish. Gerald Green was great in the first half. His arms are pretty toned, you can tell that he's been lifting a little bit. Gerald had some spectacular highlights and he knocked down some jumpers. But the thing with Gerald last night was the fact that his single coverage was VERY solid. Doc even said he was happy with Gerald defensively, so that was a good sign. He was very active, contesting every shot (blocked a couple), and I don't recall him getting burned. He also definitely had his swagger going last night, which was a good thing to see, considering he didn't have it in April at all. The only thing about Gerald I wasn't happy with was that he still had some questionable shot selection, especially in the 2nd half. Brandon Wallace was really impressive, I think he has a great shot at getting invited to camp. He was being used as a 4 in practice, but Doc said they switched him to the 3 because he wasn't doing well on the block. He played the 3 last night, and he was terrific. He is an absolute freak athlete, he rebounds, he's so active, and he plays defense. Before the game, Mike Gorman told FSN that the staff was impressed with Wallace, and I can see why. Pruitt showed some flashes early on. He was pretty active defensively and shot the ball pretty well from the perimeter. Big Baby was active, but he was a foul machine and couldn't get anything going offensively. I'm sure he'll bounce back and have a couple good offensive nights. A-Ray shot the ball pretty badly, but he was still effective. Like Doc said, that's something new, because usually when he doesn't shoot well he is ineffective. Again, this is just summer league play, but it's good that he didn't get down on himself after going cold from the floor. Rondo played good defense, but man... he needs to take open layups. He passed up 4-5 open layups (passed out of them) and missed 2. He did hit an 80 footer at the end of the first quarter though. Overall, not that impressive. I want/expect to see more out of Rondo on Monday. As a team, our team defense was pretty good tonight. We had no answer for LaMarcus Aldridge, but Leon/Davis/Allred did a great job on Oden, the perimeter players switched nicely and a couple guys had good single coverage (Gerald, Rondo, Wallace). EDIT: Blazer fans love Hamilton, and he was with them in training camp last year. He's just trying to get himself back in the league. I don't think there is any room on Portland's roster, but hopefully he impresses somebody else.
Overall I was happy. I was hoping that Davis would impress. Pruitt has a nice stroke! Wallace is very entertaing. Powe has improved his finishing a great deal. Powe also out played Oden in the middle, adversely Aldridge did just about whatever he wanted to with Davis.
big baby was a monster, in the opening minutes he got it done in the post.you guys def got a steal with him in the second round
