The Nuggets blew out the Blazers and Lillard's fire like a birthday candle.

We knew Dame's hot streak would eventually end, but it especially stung that it happened in such a lopsided loss.

Now Portland needs to regroup and face the Spurs, who are one of several teams jockeying for that 8th seed. A win here would almost feel like 2. The Blazers might have wanted a victory in Denver, but they need one here if they want to continue making ground on that last playoff spot.

I'm interested to see how Dame bounce back after coming back down to Earth.

Can Lillard re-ignite himself and go on another tear again before the All-Star break?

Will Dame serve a fifty-burger to his old buddy LaMarcus?

Blazer fans everywhere coming crashing back down to reality. You have to think about what is best for the long term goals of this team.
Hassan Whiteside was brought here as an expiring contract. If there is an option that will improve this team going forward it absolutely must be looked at.
The answers to the poll question again are way too simplistic. It's not just a Yes or No answer. Dealing Whiteside just to deal Whiteside would be stupid. But to not look at every available option and take an offer that would create flexibility and better options for the future would be even worse.
@Darkwebs you need like 16 more options with caveats included in all of them with a response that allows as many as 6 choices as answers to your poll question.

This is an absolute must win if we want a serious chance at the playoffs.

Wow! I went back and read some of the posts from the last two game threads. Biggest thing you notice right off the bat is how many posters simply don't post here any longer. If you go back to that Oct 28th thread It's absolutely brutal. Though Nov 16th isn't much better.
Gotta remember we watch the blazers for entertainment.

Honestly, the Blazers haven't been very entertaining this year.

Sure.
But on Oct 28th after the game the Blazers were 2-2 and 2-1 on the road. They were without Nurk and had just lost Collins. People were hoping Mario was gonna be able to step up and were expecting Skal to make up the slack as a backup. Obviously they still had Hood but Melo was already part of the conversation. Whiteside was noticeably still hurt and was not playing well.
Like i said that thread is just brutal.

I'm looking forward to going to this game tonight. I'm expecting Dame to bounce back and carry this team to another hard-fought victory.

Every win is important, but this one is double critical since we'll probably be fighting SA for that last playoff spot.

And of course watching #12 play brings back a lot of good Blazer memories.

Spurs are pretty big in the front court with Aldridge, Poeltl, and Lyles so I expect to see Gabriel in the rotation. But it’s Stotts so he’s probably got other ideas heheheh at least imma be too high to care.

Lets see how the team reacts to the way things went down today?

Has anyone in here mentioned this game is the tiebreaker between us and SA?

3rd and final game between these teams. We split two games in SA. This is the only game at Moda. Winner tonight gets the tiebreaker. It's important but not a season ender if we lose. Remember when we were playing OKC for 3rd in the West late in the season? OKC won but then they fell off, we surged, we got 3rd and beat them in 5 games in the first round. This is important but win or lose, there is still a lot of basketball to be played.

wtf is this

anther b2b with us traveling and utah resting?

And this time losing an hour?

This 3-point defense... Stotts still has these guys playing D like it's 2005.
