Hard to say, but maybe there is more to his injury than we know and won't be able to play this year and he would be a rfa in the off season.
well, that basically answers the question whether we will be going after someone in the buyout market.
Dwight Jaynes said he specifically asked Neil about being in the Buy-Out market and the impression was, they didn't get this close to the Lux Tax level to go spend more. This is the team they are going forward with.
Well then...I do wish Neil would give us something positive; reach a deal for a 3 year extension for Whiteside! $36-42 million?
They are just going to be very cautious to prevent any setbacks as next year is more important than a handful of games this year.
Tanking, but not by choice. That's why i wrote tanking\sinking - choose what you'd like. I'm sorry, but fighting for the 8th spot doesn't sound as appealing as a chance at winning a championship or at least going to the ECF\WCF.
well that dream for this year was a pipe dream after the major injuries we have had. Sometimes you have to accept reality. You think GS is happy about this year. Probably one of their worst off seasons by losing Durant and Iggy and then the injuries to compound it. Sometimes shit happens that you can't control.
I would not put Skal in the very good category and Collins could very well still be back this year as Olshey didn't rule it out.
Skal had become our best bench player when he went down. It was a tough loss when we starting to click. We were about to see him battle AD and then he got hurt.
