ROFL. I seriously feel bad for the guy. His career could be shot.http://mlb.mlb.com/news/press_releases/pre...rtnered=rss_det
Who cares about Neifi Perez? Why don't they catch the players that are actually ruining the game's image rather than journeymen.

Ryan Rayburn is also a utility infielder. He usually plays second-base though. I'm thinking that Craig Monroe may be on the move though....

Monroe has been slumping lately, I really hope he can pick it up. I could see him getting traded for some bullpen help, but I hope it doesn't happen. If we do trade for some help in the pen, we better not give up too much. I heard the Rangers were asking for Cameron Maybin in any deal for us to acquire Gagne or Otsuka.
The Tigers will NOT trade Cameron Maybin or Andrew Miller. Those are the only two pieces who won't be moved. That'd be stupid to only except that deal for him on the Rangers part.Craig Monroe isn't enough to be traded for any sort of good bullpen help. Monroe straight up could give us the same average bullpener that we have now. We need to package him and a few pitching prospects with maybe Nate Robertson to Texas for Otsuka.
First off, it's not positive it was steroids per say. They called it a banned stimulant, if it was steroids they would have called it steroids more than likely. He was taking performance enhancing drugs, but I don't believe they were actual steroids.http://detroit.tigers.mlb.com/news/article...sp&c_id=det<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Stimulants were added to MLB's testing program last year in an effort to stop player use of such substances as amphetamines, or "greenies." A first positive test does not trigger a suspension and is kept anonymous, but the player can be tested up to six more times within the next 12 months. A second positive test results in a 25-game suspension.</div><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (CB4AllStar @ Jul 6 2007, 05:13 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>That's gotta be embarassing...You're a steroids user hitting .185...</div>However, Even if it was steroids, steroids does nothing to improve your hand eye coordination. It really only helps out with your power and those kind of physical attributes. So he can probably hit the ball a mile, but can only hit the ball once every 10 times at bat. However, looking at his pictures, if he was using steroids, I would ask for my money back because Barry Bonds found ones that make you much bigger.
