Whatever happened to GFX Battles?

I remember I used to have big battles with kids back when I just started, I say we bring it back. Obviously not right this minute because the graphics tourney is gonna be taking up all the good gfx members, I say anyone should be allowed to call someone out and dual them. Anyone agree?

 

gfx battles are for n00bs.

I would battle, but only against someone I know I could lose too

Mardy why do you care so much about your gfx reputation? Do You think anybody is going to laugh at you because you did a gfx battle and call you a noob? I would like to do a gfx battle, they are pretty fun if you ask me.7Goat once I get back home and have PS I would like to take that challenge.

I just think that gfx battles bring out the best in people.For example I first started with photofiltre, and in one battle I made my best sig ever at that point, and then in the next battle I made my best ever at THAT point.I really think pride and reputation really makes people put forth their best work.

Almost every GFX site has GFX battles. I find them fun.

 

I guess I always choke when it comes to battles, I always put out horrible stuff in battles/tourneys. But if anyone wants to battle me I'll do it, but I'll be stuck using GIMP because I lost my photoshop when I got a new computer the other day.
