THE 2020 DEMOCRATIC PRIMARY WINNER! (as if you had any voice in the matter) So God Made A Bloomberg February 18, 2020 By Sean Davis And on the 8th day, God looked down on his planned paradise and said, “I need a tiny, soulless technocrat to tell everyone else how to live their lives.” So God made a Bloomberg. God said, “I need a know-it-all Wall Street banker who made more money by getting fired than most men will make their entire lives working an honest job.” So God made a Bloomberg. “I need somebody with hands strong enough to carry a stool and a booster seat wherever he goes, but gentle enough to sign the voter registration papers as a Democrat, and then a Republican, and then an Independent, and then a Democrat again. “Somebody who would tell a female employee to kill her own baby so she could work longer hours, a grieving family that it’s a waste to give medical care to old people, or a farmer that growing food is easy and any idiot with half a brain could manage it. Someone who could tell a mother that parenting was as simple as hiring ‘some black who doesn’t even have to speak English’ to raise her dumb kid.” So God made a Bloomberg. God said, “I need somebody willing to randomly accost black men for no good reason other than having the wrong color skin. I need somebody who will say that the best way to reduce crime is to target black kids and ‘throw them up against the walls and frisk them’ for the crime of being black. Someone who will brag that one side effect of putting ‘all the cops in the minority neighborhoods’ is that you end up ‘arresting kids for marijuana that are all minorities.’” So God made a Bloomberg. “I need somebody willing to tell those awful poors that they need to be disproportionately taxed for their own good because they’re too stupid to know what’s good for them. Somebody who will ban the sale of 32 oz. fountain drinks, but not the sale of two 16 oz. sodas, because everyone knows sugary syrup from a single cup is way worse for you than sugary syrup from two smaller cups, plus it’s not like Fatty Boombalatty over there has the self-control to put down the Big Gulp himself.” So God made a Bloomberg. God had to have somebody willing to forcibly remove black guns from black hands because, “They just don’t have any long-term focus or anything.” Somebody who thought the best way to reduce crime was to take the description of “male, minority, 16 to 25” and “Xerox it and pass it out to all the cops.” So God made a Bloomberg. God said, “I need somebody with no charm, no charisma, and no compelling reason to ever serve in government to nonetheless buy his way onto the ballot, then buy his way into the mayor’s office, then buy off the city council to eliminate the two-term limit on mayoral service. And then I need him to spend nine figures buying his way into the Democrat primary, because there would be nothing more hilarious than watching a broken down old socialist get robbed, again, by yet another New York crony who is the life-size poster child for everything that’s wrong with modern capitalism.” So God made a Bloomberg.
I like how it's trying to make Sanders' (or Democrats' in general) positions seem ridiculous and yet only mentions things that most people find reasonable (based on polling), like universal health care, government-funded college and *gasp* paid parental leave! It's really the paid parental leave that racked up the huge body counts in Soviet Russia.
Sanders says he won't release full medical records https://thehill.com/homenews/campaign/483584-sanders-says-he-wont-release-full-medical-records
If Biden continues to fade, expect Senate Republicans to drop Burisma investigation and launch new investigation into Sanders family finances. Expect Barr to announce criminal investigation of whoever Democrats nominate. As with Burisma and emails, no crime is necessary, just an endless investigation.
I fully expect the Democrats themselves to pull out all those stops against Sanders. At this point I’m completely convinced that establishment Dems would rather see a Trump presidency than a Sanders one. At least then they can still be one big corrupt happy family. I actually think Sanders will put forth an effort to break all that up, despite my few qualms about him.
Ouchie... https://www.cnbc.com/2020/02/19/joe...o-mike-bloomberg-as-he-plummets-in-polls.html Several Joe Biden fundraisers jump ship from his struggling campaign to back Mike Bloomberg Key fundraisers are jumping ship from Joe Biden’s struggling presidential campaign to instead support Mike Bloomberg’s ascending candidacy. The development comes amid growing concerns within Biden’s affluent donor network that the former vice president is struggling to convince voters that he can defeat Sen. Bernie Sanders. The financiers are also impressed with Bloomberg’s self-funded operation.
Except, you know, reality https://www.politifact.com/factchec...ore-criminal-indictments-under-trump-reagan-/
....So, that’s a total of 58 or 81 charges against Trump associates — not 215. But the claim we’re checking refers not to individual charges but indictments, of which there are only a half dozen directly tied to Trump. And, then...there's a difference between indictments...and actual charges.
Oh, my. YAY Obama! He also didn't have Republicans looking to indict at every corner...for every little thing. I've never quite seen such disdain for a President...even before he ever took office! LOL
Sometimes I can't tell if your posts are performance art. Republicans tried to turn everything Obama did into a scandal. As for "disdain before he ever took office"--no memory of Mitch McConnell, in a meeting with the Republican senators before Obama's first term began, saying that their primary objective over the next four years was to make Obama a "one-term President?" All the racism towards both Barack and Michelle Obama from rank-and-file Republicans probably escaped your notice, too. Obama required a bullet proof glass screen in front of him for his victory speech in Grant Park because Secret Service was concerned someone might try to shoot him. Trump didn't require anything of the sort. And, you know, there's also the minor point that Obama didn't say and do the things Trump did.
There's a large difference between "creating scandals" and full on indictments. Oh, and Trump will NEVER apologize to the world for the United States of America.
There is. There's also a large difference in the actions between Obama and Trump. If Republicans could have turned their attempted scandal creation into indictments, they obviously would have--unfortunately for them, there was nothing that was actually indictable. Kind of an important point, there. Nor will he apologize for sexual misconduct. Trump is pretty consistent that way.
OK. To use another's link: https://www.politifact.com/factchec...ore-criminal-indictments-under-trump-reagan-/ ".....So, that’s a total of 58 or 81 charges against Trump associates — not 215. At any rate, I believe Pelosi (& Co.) has had it in much worse for Trump, than Moscow Mitch had it in for Obama.
