    Won’t happen. Land is one of the most sought after assets known to man, more so than money a lot of the time. If anyone thinks the people in power are just going to give it away, they’re crazy. It would be great for Idaho, and most people in rural Oregon would probably prefer it, but why would city-dwelling legislators just give away their cheap, hard-working country peasants? Who would harvest the natural resources that keep the cities alive?
