I know a lot of you guys are watching these, I thought it would be interesting to note stuff that you see, interesting tidbits...etc...
Even with 10 fouls Greg Oden still has problems keeping out of foul trouble. We saw Oden get into foul trouble alot in Ohio State. He's got to work on this aspect of his game before the NBA season begins.
Greg Oden isnt a man among boys anymore...hes a man among other men. I expect him to adjust though, he will play better than he did in his first summer league game.I said before the Seattle game Durant will probably score 20+ppg this season but shooting poorly just cause hes the only scorer and he will take the bulk of the shots. If im correct, he shot 5 of 17 or something and had 18 points. Im positive im not the only one to think that though, its pretty obvious he will shoot a low percentage(not that low though).Rudy Gay is coming into this season with alotve confidence and is looking to be a leader for the Grizzlies. He couldve easily had 30-35 points last night, but he chose to get everybody else involved in the 2nd half. He completely dominated the game, yes its just a summer league game, but it just shows hes superior to every player on the court.Tarence Kinseys outside shot has improved since the end of last season. Its seems hes been working hard on his weaknesses.Yi Jianlian isnt soft and doesn't back down. If he keeps working hard, I can see him becoming an all-star in this league.Kyle Lowry and Mike Conley playing in the backcourt with each other is a very good tandem when used correctly. Very fast, very good defense and very good passing.Portland and Boston game was extremely boring compared to the game before. No offense though...
I agree with Yi, he can flat out ballI think Durant will shoot a decent percentage from the field, and might be able to average 20 a game since he is the main focus now.
I see Durant shooting around 40-42% from the field, and I think his 3 point FG wont be that bad. I'll say something around 34-37% from the 3 range.
5 of 17? Thats not so much to judge him by, but I knew he wasnt going to shoot above 50-55 percent from the field.

Marco Bellineli can score nearly 30 points through 3 quarters. He's at 26 points after a few minutes through the 3rd quarter. He could end up being the biggest steal of the draft.Make that 31 points for Marco Belinelli in 15-17 minutes..
The NBA.com broadcast of Warriors/Hornets is the worst broadcast I've ever watched in my life. No scoreboard or announcer and the camera view is pretty far away. At least the game is entertaining, Marco Bellineli shows alot of potential.
I observed that both Oden and Durant are gonna be busts. I'll check out some of the Suns games. Maybe Banks will do something this year? I'm really curious to see what Tucker and Strawberry can do.
I was really suprised how great Belinelli shot today. 14/20 overall, 5/7 on 3s and 4/6 on FTs for 37 points. I don't think anyone saw that coming. Also why didn't Brandan Wright play? Has he not signed his contract yet?

Louis Amundson has impressed me so far. I've watched every summer league game, right now I'm watching the Sixers for the 2nd time. He is extremely active, he works very hard, and he's tough.Gerald Green has toned his body a bit this summer and actually looked pretty solid defensively last night. Granted he guarded Martell Webster and some Spanish guy, but it was nice to see.Pierre Pierce looked good today. People already mentioned Belinelli's amazing shooting display, but Pierre Pierce really attacked in the 2nd half today and got to the rack almost at will.Jose Barea impressed me the most yesterday, even though Rudy Gay got on the highlight reel. He played under control, always knew where his teammates were, made some outstanding passes, and played well throughout the entire game.EDIT: Check my thoughts on the Celtics game at http://www.celticsnews.com/blog
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (RaptorFan#1 @ Jul 7 2007, 10:27 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>Oh my god CB4, Yi Jianlian shot better from the field and scored more than Durant.</div>It was the first game of the summer league you fool...
Yi was 0-10 at one point in this game, and right now he's 2-14.. so big deal if he scored more than Durant in the first game
Spencer Hawes and Francisco Garcia both just had excellent games offensively. Garcia started off absolutely ice cold, but he started taking it to the rack and getting to the line. Eventually, jumpers fell for him. He also made 2 beautiful passes, one of them to Justin Williams for a slam. Hawes started off hot, nailing some mid-range jumpers. I would have liked to see him post up a little bit more, especially against these Chinese softies, but he has an excellent looking stroke for a 7 footer.Yi was absolutely horrid on both ends.
