<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>The biggest disappointment for Seattle was Saer Sene who is beginning to look like an absolute disaster of a tenth pick in the draft. *sighs*They should get him carrying the bags- he's big enough to do that but not much else in fact he's not worthy or carryiny the summerleague teams bags, he should carry Steven A smiths bags.
I just read Yi Jianlian was struggling from the field the whole game then scored 17 points and a game winner in the 4th quarter.

He got most of his points off of FTs. He was only 3/11 (27%) from the field but 14/17 from the free throw line. At least we know he can shoot free throws.

Thats not so much to judge him by, but I knew he wasnt going to shoot above 50-55 percent from the field.</div>However, if I noticed one thing, Yi Jianlian plays with confidence. He doesn't shy away from contact, and he can also use his finesse to his advantage as well. He shot a fadeaway around 2 defenders to hit that game winner, something you dont see int. players doing alot, he should be solid in the NBA.
I still cant watch it, they keep skipping through games, but from the boxscore. Looks like Durant is playing pretty sh*t. 2-10 Fg's 2 fouls in 6 minutes.
umm y isnt anybody talking about Lamarcus Aldridge? He was called the most impressive player in the summer league according to yahoo sports. 16 pts 11 reb vs mavs. and his shot wasnt even falling in that game. I think he got 26 and 11 vs boston.hes gonna be a beast, especially alongside greg oden.I think greg oden will work through his foul troubles in a year maybe. Foul troubles gonna be his biggest problem for his rookie season. Other than that, hes tired, has a sinus infection and needs his tonsils to be removed, so its totally acceptable what hes doing on the court. He wont be as wiped when regular season comes around and he has a chance to work out and relax.

Big Men usually dont really have much stuff to endorse. I dont see Tim Duncan on too many advertisements. And during the regular season he wont have a sinus infection and tonsils that need to be removed. I dont think conditioning will be a problem with oden at all.
this is what Oden says about his tonsils:From Jason Quick's blog....On Monday, I asked Oden to show me his tonsils, and he obliged. I was so startled, I asked him to show me again. His tonsils are so swollen that only a small passage way - about the size of a green grape - was evident."I can't even tell you ... it just hurts,'' Oden said "Right now, it's more of a thing that they are so big, that when I'm running up and down the court, it's hard for me to breathe. I can't get any air in there.''
I'm watching Knicks-Sonics right now...-Durant needs to learn he doesn't have the size advantage he did in college, thus his shots are getting blocked a lot in summer league. He seems to be taking too many long range jumpshots. Get more midrange jumpshots from the postup position or take your man off the dribble.-Wilson Chandler is an awesome athlete. I see a LOT of potential in him. He has a pretty nice jumpshot, and a very good slasher and off ball mover. If he learns how to create his own shot, he could be a very good scorer in the league.

Check the homepage. :dribble:
OH sh*t!!! Jeff Green just posterized Nate Robinson (despite size difference it still looked amazing)!!Walt Frazier just brought up a great point...when Durant isn't scoring you forget he is on the floor. Right now Renaldo Balkman is overpowering him and he can't get anything easy. He has like no rebounds, no assists, not a great defender, and just kind of floating around. That is a big thing I had against Durant...outside of rebounding, he doesn't do anything outside of scoring the ball. And in the NBA, where there is no way he'll get 11RPG, he'll need to learn to be a better ballhandler, passer, decision maker and defender.
Banks had 42 points, but I heard his defense was nothing special and didn't show much PG skills at all. Good thing is, if he keep scoring, teams may take him off our hands so the FO doesn't even have to think about letting Kurt Thomas go at the trade deadline. Keep it up Banks!

I heard he went crazy in the 4th. He may save his basketball career after all. We still lost though. :-/
