Trent needs to develop the sidestep then shoot.

If they had worked for a good two each time, we'd really be in it!

We tried. That Turner 3 stings. I think we would've won if he didn't hit that. Sucks. 26-34. Dammit. Need to win the next 2 to tread water. We would've won this with Dame. Dame- come back soon!!!

The problem in the game came in the 4th when the Blazer defense went to shit for a while.

These eastern conference teams outside of the top two never really impress me. How are the Pacers ten games above .500? They’d get slapped by any western playoff team. Fuck that conference.

It's like watching your favorite driver in the Daytona 500..he's competitive, driving as hard as he can, but he's down two cylinders and it's just a matter of time till the engine goes...

Free throws were a killer. 18-23 for the Pacers vs. 9-14 for the Blazers. Yuck.

But, hey, glad Terry held onto that challenge!

I wish someday the Blazer offense would mess with the defense like other teams do to us. McCollum could break down the defense as well as the guys doing it to us. Dribble in. attract the defense, maybe get an easy two for Whiteside or back out to an open 3-pointer.

Imagine if Stotts had the balls to have CJ as the sixth man next year with Trent next to dame in the starting lineup. CJ would be the best sixth man in the league.

Or he could just carry the way he’s playing now over to when Lillard returns. Keep getting others involved. That’d work too.

CJ already is our 6th man when everyone is healthy. He starts, leaves after 5-6 minutes and then comes off the bench with the reserves. He's been playing 6th man for us for years. Melo doing it now too.

    He's not the 6th man.

He starts and comes off the bench. When everyone's healthy, that is.

Our next two games (which better be wins) are against the kind of teams Indiana gets to play all season long.

Way I look at by watching tonight. In that starting lineup we really have 2 impact defense players. Ariza and Trent. CJ is a just very offense player and tonight show me he really slow a foot on defense. Yes casual he makes a good defense play here there. Whiteside also makes impact play here and there but he does alternate slot of shots the reason is he doesn't jump when he does he goes up for a block. Plus doesn't play as he should because he turned side ways when someone drive toward him instead center and go up with 2 hands. Offensely he does alright. Melo he can't move any more defense period and can score here there if comes back he would definitely have come off the bench.
