I don't really feel sorry for the Bucks. They were told not to pick him and yet they did. They can't force the guy to play there. So they'll have to trade him, and if they don't Yi can just sit out the year and re-enter the draft next year.

He's a finesse forward that likes to play on the perimeter. He's not a post player, he's a horrid defender, he's pretty soft, and he really needs to get stronger (upper body). He can't play the 5 in the NBA, and he'll have trouble with 4's.He's a 3 in a 7 foot body.
Yi is going to have to play PF in the league. He doesn't defend either well, but hes going to get torn up at the 3. When Dirk and Gasol came into the league, people said that they were going to play the 3 but both ended up at the 4. I expect the same for Yi.Hes going to have trouble with 4s....but I think he'd be worse off trying to defend 3's.

Just because a player is small at 19 doesn't mean he'll be small forever. Yao has put on mass as have most 7 footers who have been in the league for a while. You love to condescend yet you never put any insight. The dirk comparison wasnt a bad one though.
I say they should deal him and just move on. He'll never re-sign with Milwaukee as it is, when the time comes, so why not deal him now while you can? Get something for him. Also, if you wait to see what happens, and he doesn't end up panning out, the organization will regret not dealing him right away when his value was at an all-time high. Teams are certainly still interested, I say deal him now while you still have some control.

If they did a trade like that, they might as well sell the franchise.

No kidding Yi will play a little center in the NBA in certain situations, you said he and Yao were both 7'0" centers, Yi isn't. I love to condescend and never give insight? Really? I remember a certain thread called 'Durant or Oden' where I proved you wrong and gave plenty of insight.... When your debating someone who thinks Durant is compariable to Charles Barkley and Chris Bosh, and that maraijuana isn't a drug, sometimes I don't feel like wasting my time with insight, sorry.

Nocioni is is older than both of them, and I've heard multiple Chicago players say that Deng played like garbage most of the past season. Of course Bulls fans would do that trade, because it's AWFUL for the Bucks.
Trade him to some team and rip some team off. That's all Harris can do to make it up to Milwaukee fans. And wow Primetime Yi isn't a center. C and PF aren't the same thing at all. Playing 1 or the other when you don't belong there can make or break your career and all the hype surrounding you.
See if he will sign with us if he doesn't hes still under us so if he dont sign with us I hope we trade him to get some young players or a pg if mo will signs with the heat

Most centers and powerforwards are interchangeable at some point. Also BCB why cant Durant be compareable to Charles Barkley and chris bosh? Both were and are athletic scorers with great rebounding prowess and average defensive skills.

Noc is a guy who can give u 20/8 a game in a starting role and play great defense and he just so happens to be a sf(the bucks weakest position)Right now Yi is unproven and alot of teams wouldnt give up a guy like Nocioni who is a proven hustle scorer/defender for an unproven foreign player and a guy coming off a terrible season(who will likely be traded one way or the other soon)

Charles Barkley was a rugged, 6'6" PF and Chris Bosh is a 6'11" finesse scorer and natural PF. Kevin Durant is an athletic/smooth scorer with an amazing jumper....of course you can point a few similarities but overall the comparisons make little sense.

I wasnt neccesarily saying they are the same players but that Durant could end up a pf even though size and strength is an issue right now. He may never be a true pf but he is a combo forward. You like to try and twist my words on me. doesn't work. Just because I compare one aspect of a player doesn't mean im saying they are the same guy.

Bottom line, Durant is a completely different player, outside of a couple basic similarities. Yeah, Durant rebounds, so do Barkley/Bosh....ok? Other than that it's apples and oranges for the most part. In the other thread you really tried comparing Durant (who you've not watched) to Bosh and everyone laughed and shot it down....I remember CB32, Valo and Nitro, along with myself not understanding your comparisons....
